The Farm at Green Heron Pond is so beautiful and peaceful.
The perfect place for a dream wedding!

Our wedding at the Farm at Green Heron Pond was absolutely perfect and everything that we wanted. Bob and Amy were incredibly responsive and helpful from beginning to end. We were looking for a rustic venue that showcased the beautiful scenery that we live in, and one that wouldn't put us into debt! The Farm at Green Heron Pond was affordable and allowed us to include the details that WE wanted, which further allowed us to stay within our budget. Even though it rained and we had to change the location of the ceremony, the pavilion was a great substitute (the lighting and ceiling are gorgeous, as well as the views!) and the rain on the roof actually added to the ambiance. Also, the staff was so helpful in getting guests to the pavilion in the rain! I had stated that the one thing I wanted was a bonfire, and sure enough, as soon as it stopped raining Bob was out there setting a fire for us! It was incredible sitting by the fire, watching the fireflies and listening to the frogs in the pond. Our photographer had a great time finding spots for pictures, and our guests really enjoyed walking about the pond. After such an exciting day it was a relief to be able to stay at the venue in the cottage! It was so tidy, private, and relaxing - we sat on the front porch the next morning and did some bird watching! It was also lovely getting ready in the cottage beforehand - so convenient! I'm so glad that we chose this venue for our wedding, it truly embodied our love for nature and our home here in the mountains.

I got married at The Farm at Green Heron Pond in October 2019. We rented the property for the weekend so that our friends and family had the option to camp on site. Bob and Amy, the owners, are down to earth and were very easy to work with - they were quick to respond to my many questions while planning and worked with me to have our ceremony on top of a hill on their property, which no one had done before! I appreciated their open minds and flexibility- they were receptive to my wild ideas and together we had an absolutely unbelievable wedding. Bob and Amy are detail oriented, which I really appreciated with the planning and especially in the week of and on the wedding day. My wedding was very DIY and having Bob and Amy on board to help with some of the logistics and communication was above and beyond- we were able to have a wedding that really fit who we are. We had about 160 guests total, our guest count necessitated the venue renting a tent for the reception and we used the pavilion on site for dancing. We also used the cabin on the property which was perfect for getting ready in and being able to sleep on site before and after the wedding (we didn't want to leave the party!) Our friends and family said over and over how much they enjoyed being truly in the mountains and celebrating with us in such a beautiful place. I wholeheartedly recommend The Farm at Green Heron Pond.
