We had our wedding at the Dallidet in September and are so glad we did! It's such a gem in downtown San Luis Obispo- so many locals haven't even heard of it. The house itself is chock full of artifacts and history, then there are the grounds with separate patios and even a cute bridal barn to get ready in. In September the gardens are so lush and lovely with just a touch of fall color.

Karen, the event manager is so friendly and is really willing to go above and beyond to help make your day a success. She met with us several times so we could look through the venue or ask questions. I also really like that the rental fee goes back to the historical society

Our wedding was so memorable to many of our guests- both we and they were so pleased with how everything came together. It was almost magical.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of San Luis Obispo is the Dallidet Adobe & Gardens. Designated California Historical Landmark #720, the 1850’s adobe was home to Pierre Hypolite Dallidet, his wife Maria Ascension Salazar and their seven children. Pierre was the first commercial vintner in the area,  growing grapes, making wine and disti lling brandy on his land.

Today, the carefully maintained Mediterranean gardens are a place of quiet beauty and tranquility, a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of San Luis Obispo. Four separate venue areas lend an element of flexibility; a blank canvas upon which you can paint your story.

Tables and chairs come as standard; so does our support and dedication to your wedding. Dallidet Edna Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are available for purchase at the Crushed Grape, 319  Madonna Road, Suite 2, San Luis Obispo. Tours of the historic adobe are available and enthusiastically delivered.
