The Curtis - A Doubletree by Hilton is a trendy hotel located in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado. They feature over 27,000 square feet of modern event space that is sure to wow your guests. Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 220 guests for a seated dinner with a dance floor or up to 500 reception style. Their Four Square Ballroom features 4,200 square feet of colorful event space that can be customized as you see fit. They also have an additional 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace that is perfect for your ceremony or reception. Whether you're having an intimate gathering, fun n' funky wedding or a romantic lavish affair, The Curtis - A Doubletree by Hilton has you covered.

If you have a penchant for scary movies, the 13th floor is titled “Dun Dun Dunnn!” and features a vintage vacancy notice from the “Bates Motel.” They also offer 800-square-foot, one-bedroom suites, Hyper Themed Rooms and standard rooms.

I used this venue for a rehearsal dinner/cocktail party. I had many out of town guests, so in order to be more fun and more budget-friendly, we had a cocktail party with appetizers, stationary entrees, and desserts. I decided to test the restaurant out when I got to Denver with my sister, and then proceeded to eat there almost every day because the food was so delicious. It was also interesting modern versions of favorites, as well as new food I had never had before (YOU MUST TRY THE BRAZILIAN CHEESE BREAD). I know for a fact that all of my guests loved the food. So there you have it, the food is great, BUT the review does not end there. They were so flexible with what I needed and with my budget. I originally said I would have 40 guests, but then a month before this turned into 65 guests, and they simply said, "no problem, lets just add an area." They periodically came out to let me know where I was in my budget for drinks so that I knew when I exceeded my budget. The staff was great, respectful, and gave me an incredibly fun night before the wedding for everyone involved. Guests got to meet each other before the wedding and even went out together after because the location is perfect. Just a note, the hotel attached to the restaurant does not share the great customer service that this restaurant does, so tell your guests to go right to the restaurant and ignore the hotel staff.

The BEST choice for our wedding! We can’t say enough positive things about the Curtis hotel and staff that made our wedding perfect. From the minute we met Macy and her catering team, we knew we had found the perfect place. They made everything special, fun and a no brainer for us. The professionalism was top notch. All of our guests raved about the staff. The food, the service, the care that they took in making us feel special on our wedding day was incredible. Our guests are still talking about it. The attention to detail was evident. We could not have done better than choosing this team and property. Compared to other venues in downtown Denver, it was very affordable. The outdoor terrace made the perfect backdrop for our vows.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at The Curtis! From the first e-mail communication to follow up e-mails after our event we could not have been more pleased. We worked with Macy (Supernova of Shindigs) and on our first meeting she used the 'F word' when talking about weddings at The Curtis- Fun! It was important to my husband and I that everyone have a great time at our wedding so we appreciated that was something The Curtis prides themselves on. Everyone at The Curtis was very helpful in making sure we had everything we wanted/needed leading up to our wedding day and on the day itself! We did not have our ceremony here, but our reception was incredible. The venue is beautiful, the 4-square ballroom is cool and funky (not too funky) with a great terrace, we had the windows open for an easy transition from the dance floor to a fun (jumbo Jenga and corn hole) and comfortable outdoor space. We had stations set up for dinner and many guests are still talking about what an excellent meal they had, "those fish tacos were the best I've had in a long time and so far my very favorite wedding food". Our cake was done in house, we weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but staff worked with us to create a beautiful AND delicious cake! The staff made sure that my husband and I took some time to eat, they did an excellent job checking in with us throughout the night and helping us stick to our timeline in order to have the dance floor open as long as possible. We very much appreciate everyone at The Curtis who had a hand in making our day so incredible and one that we are sure to remember for the rest of our lives!

Loved, loved, loved the Curtis! It's a beautiful venue and we were super impressed with just about everything they did for us!
The food was outstanding, the cake gorgeous (and super tasty) and they took such good care of us! We had our dream wedding and the venue location and staff were a huge part of that!

Sarah Morris Perez is the all star of wedding planners. The Princess of Party Preparation if you will! All of our guests could not stop raving about the service the Curtis Hotel provided as a whole. The majority of our guests stayed there, and we had our ceremony on the Four Square Ballroom Patio, and the reception inside the ballroom.

We were not the couple who knew every aspect of our wedding going into planning and Sarah was amazing guiding us through what we needed and what the next step was. We chose the choice of 2 plated entree special with the CO Beer added to the Beer & Wine bar (no liquor). The package included a credit for our cake, which they even helped us stay within the credit for our guest count and needs.

I could go on and on, but overall, it was a great value and our guests loved their experience and they helped us making it incredibly easy to plan!

We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at The Curtis Hotel. Sarah Morris Perez and her team were amazing to work with and helped make our day one of the most awesome days in history! From beginning to end, Sarah was the consummate professional and knew exactly how to answer all of my husband's outlandish requests (both serious & joking), with a smart, witty, yet serious response (he's a handful ;).

We live in Austin, TX and she was was always super responsive to my emails and made sure to accommodate us when we were in town. Anytime there was a small hiccup with room reservations or whatnot, she was quick to resolve the situation and leave it better than it was beforehand. She worked amazingly well with all our vendors and kept me sane and calm the day of the wedding. She asked all the right questions, even those I hadn't thought of, and executed our vision perfectly. Sarah always kept a calm, cool demeanor and helped make our day absolutely amazing.

As for The Curtis itself as a venue - hands down awesomeness! The hotel is soo fun and cool, the location is amazing and the staff were some of the most friendly, helpful people around. Also - the food for the wedding was great! During our tasting, it was delicious, but you always wonder if it will be as good for 200 people. Feedback from virtually everyone was that it was scrumptious! If the whole thing wasn't so stressful and time consuming, I'd do it all over again!

I highly recommend The Curtis and Sarah Morris Perez for your big day - I am so grateful to the whole staff for making it over the moon amazing!

We had our reception at the Curtis Hotel and it was wonderful. We worked with Sarah Perez and I must have sent that girl 100 emails a day with questions and requests and all sorts of things and she was great about responding to every single one and getting me everything I needed. She'd even respond to me on her days off!!! Sarah and everyone at the hotel were so attentive to our guests- they really felt looked after and attended to. The food was amazing and they just made the reception so amazing. They even stationed a special attendant for our kids table, who not only served the kids, but helped with the toys and crafts that we had set up!! We plan on going back to the Curtis every anniversary and will shout their praises to anyone who will listen :)

When I booked my wedding The Curtis was not yet affiliated with Hilton or the Double Tree and I was worried about the transition happening while I was still in the planning process. The new team was absolutely amazing! Sarah, my wedding planner went above and beyond my expectations. In fact, without her expert touch my ceremony would have been in a boring and plain meeting space...instead, it was elegant and absolutely beautiful. The staff of the hotel was more than accommodating to all of my friends and family that traveled from all over the world for our wedding!

Amazing! I cannot believe I found a hotel in Denver that matched mine and my husbands personalities so well. Sarah Morris-Perez was a dream to work with. She helped with every little detail and the day of orchestrated everything to a t. She didn't even flinch when my husband suggested shooting a t-shirt out of a t-shirt cannon at the reception she set to work to figure out how to get everything done. The rooms were also more than I could have asked for. The day of me and my bridesmaids got ready in a huge suite that over looked the Performing Arts Complex, champagne and fruit trays were delivered and the staff was more than accomodating to all of our needs. If you are looking for a fun venue that has amazing food, great staff and a huge imagination The Curtis is perfect for that.

We had my daughters wedding ceremony and reception at The Curtis hotel, they were fabulous from beginning to end! Sarah, the princess of party planning was wonderful and always available and helpful! The hotel is quirky and retro, and was perfect for a really fun wedding!
