Black Canyon Inn offers a number of captivating and picturesque event spaces.
The Wedding Pavilion provides a scenic ceremony spot for couples to exchange lifelong vows. With paved flooring and a vaulted wood-paneled roof, this space allows for elegant weddings to take place with a full view of the neighboring ranch property. Couples taking advantage of this ceremony site will also enjoy views of the Rocky Mountains’ Lumpy Ridge rock formation. Situated next to The Pavilion, The Lawn offers a lush backdrop for cocktail hour celebrations. For capturing priceless wedding memories, The Pond, with its island and footbridge, is an idyllic spot for pre-wedding gatherings or photoshoots. The Homestead provides couples with an inviting and beautifully designed indoor event space, suitable for unforgettable receptions for up to 125 guests. Constructed from a cabin foundation that dates back to 1929, this building features a warm fireplace lounge area and exquisite hardwood flooring.
The Boulders, which debuted in 2020, is a beautiful area that can accommodate up to 200 guests. The Boulders is situated at the top of a hill, surrounded by natural rock, embodying the spirit of the Rocky Mountains through style, food and hospitality.

The event staff at Black Canyon Inn are enthusiastic about facilitating meaningful experiences for your special day. Taking care of any necessary setup and cleanup concerns, the inn’s personnel are available to provide support, encouraging couples to enjoy themselves to the fullest. An on-site event planner assists with wedding arrangements and aids couples with each step that approaches their big moment, as well as day-of coordination on the big day. Exclusive catering and bar service is provided to both venues by Black Canyon Catering, providing a truly all-encompassing experience.

A venue so beautiful our guests are still talking about it!
Black Canyon Inn delivers truly excellent service and provides a dedicated day-of coordinator, which was a huge relief. They do not allow outside catering, and as self-proclaimed food lovers, we were initially hesitant about this policy. However, we took a leap of faith after hearing from so many vendors that their wedding food is some of the best around—and they were absolutely right. The food was phenomenal and completely exceeded our expectations.
They also have a fantastic list of recommended vendors, which helped us tremendously with our wedding planning. It gave us confidence that we were making great choices every step of the way.
As we were planning, we noticed a recurring theme in the wedding community: many couples want to feel "unique" and "special," wanting a wedding that doesn't feel like anyone else's. While we understand that sentiment, our philosophy was different. We chose Black Canyon Inn precisely because they do so many weddings. We wanted a "well-oiled machine" that has the experience and expertise to handle anything that might come up. We are only having a wedding once, and we wanted a team that knows exactly what they are doing through experience.
For any couples searching for a venue, our advice is this: don't let your "wow factor" come from choosing an inexperienced venue. Let it come from the special moments with your family and friends. Your wedding is always going to be unique because you are not anyone else! Black Canyon Inn provided the perfect, seamless backdrop for our day, and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend them.
