I can honestly say that I have never been more happy to write a review for a wedding / event vendor than I am for Kelly at The Chocolate Llama. We have trusted Kelly with several sculpted and tiered cakes for our clients, grand openings and photo shoots that made their way to Martha Stewart Weddings. To say that we are impressed is a major understatement. Awe inspiring is more appropriate. Why?

1. You simply will not come across another cake maker, bakery, etc that cares more about your wedding than Kelly does. Her dedication to her work is inspiring.
2. Kelly is first and foremost an artist, you simply will not see the level of detail she achieves from bakeries who stamp out flowers from silicone molds.
3. The cake is actually delicious, she offers unique flavors and uses quality ingredients that really make a difference.
4. Myself and my husband are very happy to have The Chocolate Llama accessible because birthdays are better!

To say that Kelli is a talented baker would be a massive understatement! She and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park when it came to making the wedding cake for me and wife. When we started planning, my wife and I had no real vision for our wedding except for the cake. We wanted a Swedish Princess Cake, the same cake we had the day we got engaged in Stockholm. It’s not a typical wedding cake, so when we contacted several bakers, Kelli was the only one who said that she would try to make it. And she succeeded beyond all expectations! Not only were our cakes absolutely gorgeous, so many of our guests said it was far and away the best cake they’d ever had. My wife and I fully plan on ordering one next year for our first anniversary. So if you’re wondering if Kelli and Chocolate Llama are worth the price, the answer is a resounding yes! She is so great to work with and I couldn’t imagine having gone with anyone else. 5 stars and 10/10!

Kellie, thank you for making our dream wedding cake. After speaking to us in person, Kellie and her team created the aesthetic and impact we were looking for. And do not get me started to the taste! Classic, high-end, and simply made to perfection. My husband and I are very grateful!

Kellie did a great job for my son’s wedding. First of all, her cakes tasted SO much better than any we tasted, and we tried quite a few. The frosting she creates is probably the best frosting we’ve ever tasted on any cake. The design of her cakes is outstanding. They are unique, intricate, and beautiful. Kellie’s vision, design, and final product show her utmost dedication to her craft. Both the wedding cake and the groom’s cake were gorgeous. Kellie worked with us through pricing to be sure we felt comfortable with the cost, and she was always easy to reach. The day of the wedding, she could not have made delivery and setup easier. At all aspects of the process, from the original phone call requesting samples to the delivery of the wonderful cakes, Kellie was professional, courteous, and devoted to making our interactions with her a great experience. Chocolate llama will always be my first choice for cake! I have ordered several cakes from Kelley and have been overly satisfied with both design and taste every time. If you are looking for a quality product I highly recommend ordering from this business!

Everything that Kellie creates is nothing short of a masterpiece. Her artistic abilities are exceptional, and the joy and passion she brings to her business is apparent in every detail of the product she provides. Oh, and make no mistake, her cakes will forever ruin any other cake you can get your hands on. They are that spectacular. If you make it home with any leftover to freeze for your first anniversary, good luck keeping your spouse from sneaking pieces of it when you aren’t looking.

The cake that The Chocolate Llama made for us was not only delicious but the design was amazing! At a family wedding Kellie provided the groom’s cake that looked like a piano with sheet music and so scrumptious! Kellie is not only a talented designer/baker but wonderful to work with as her level of customer service is superb!

Kellie and her team are incredibly talented. I used them for my daughter's wedding and for my father's 90th birthday. All 3 cakes (brides. grooms and bday) were spectacular AND delicious. My experience with Kellie from beginning to end was perfect.

Kellie is an amazingly talented artist. She doesn't bake cakes, she creates one-of-a-kind works of art with such amazing detail you can only gape in wide mouth wonder and ask how it's even possible that this is a cake.

The Chocolate Llama created cakes for my 50th birthday (that got more attention than me). One was a life-like replica of my beloved pup, Travis, and the other an almost exact copy of my vintage Corona typewriter. My guests were awe struck. Honestly, it was very difficult to cut into these cakes--they were just too beautiful. But eventually we did and it was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted.
