We got married in the fall at the Shirley meeting house and our reception was at the bull run restaurant. Natasha, our day of coordinator went extremely above and beyond to make it the most magical day of our lives!!! She helped us plan the details of our wedding leading up to the big day and made sure everything was perfect. Natasha coordinated getting us the ceremony space in the historic Shirley meeting house too! She was there for everything and made sure everything flowed on time!

The food at the reception was phenomenal, piping hot and delicious. Our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The cocktails were exceptional!! We HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couples who are looking for a classic New England wedding in a space full of history and whimsy that absolutely radiates with love! We got to meet the owner (Alison) of the bull run the next day when we picked up decorations at the meeting house, and she made us feel so special and excitedly talked about our wedding with us. Everyone who works at the bull run is amazing at their jobs and are genuinely the sweetest people. We will be back for many more years to come to celebrate our anniversaries, eat regular dinners and brunches, and to keep going to concerts!

Pluses: We barely provided any decor, they have a prop room to choose from to decorate your tables with! I only provided flowers and mini pumpkins and any extra little decor items since I wanted them (they lent me bud vases for the day, and the florist gave me a discount for this) and I focused on making fun signs for the reception/menu and table cards. Their prop room has candles, lanterns, fabric, fake flowers, wood slabs, vases, anything you could want to make the space look cute.

The bakery they work with, Simply Sweet by Christine, made an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake for us, and the DJ company they recommended CMP also did an amazing job.

The Bull run staff decorated the space beautifully for us and made everything so easy!!! From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much!! My husband and I can’t stop smiling and he said it was a better day than he ever could have imagined!

I cannot say enough about how perfect The Bull Run was for our wedding. Amanda and her team made for a flawless and gorgeous event. From the first tour, to the tasting, to the event, I don't have a single thing I would change. Amanda was so responsive and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She made us so comfortable and confident in our big day. We did our rehearsal dinner here as well and they made both events to special We will definitely be back for meals and the food is incredible. Highly, highly recommend them.

Amanda is literally the best. Our wedding day went so smoothly. She was able to help us with every detail and is a pleasure to plan an event with. The bull run was the perfect venue, everything was perfect and my husband and I are both super happy with how our day went.

I wish I could give the Bull Run more than 5 stars! From start to finish, The micro wedding was a great value especially during COVID. The Bull Run made my son and daughter in law's wedding dreams come true. Amanda was amazing on what she does. She was prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. So, if you are looking for a wedding venue in this area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!!

We are a queer couple who wanted to feel 100% free to be our authentic selves throughout the wedding planning process. We looked at several venues and left each one feeling discouraged until we found The Bull Run. We were immediately charmed by Amanda and her welcoming personality. The vibe is a totally relaxed, family owned, friendly atmosphere where we felt completely at ease. There was so much flexibility offered in pricing and in scheduling (with Covid you never know what could happen but they were willing to work with us). The event itself was pure magic. From the covered bridge to the delicious food. With Amanda in charge we didn't worry about anything and were able to focus on having the best day ever. We couldn't imagine having a better experience and will continue to hold The Bull Run in our hearts.

My husband and I are so thrilled that we were able to have our wedding reception at the Bull Run! The venue, the food, the staff, the outside vendors we worked with through the Bull Run's recommendation, were all far above our experiences with other weddings we've been to. Every single guest was very complimentary on our good judgement in choosing the Bull Run! Especially, Amanda, the coordinator, was outstanding. She was responsive, flexible, had the patience of a saint, and was full of wonderful ideas. Our original plan was for May of 2020, but when covid hit that plan needed to change. The Bull Run staff worked with us every step of the way, and the result was a fantastic reception this past July. Thank you all so much!!

We are from Massachusetts but live in Washington and wanted to go back for our wedding to avoid the financial burden of flying and housing our guests. We are BEYOND fortunate to have found Amanda. She was an absolute angel (I told her that multiple times throughout the evening)! We were able to plan the entire thing from 3k miles away without ever having met her and it was relatively stress free...she did literally everything!!! Every time I had a question and started to stress her answer was almost always "I'll take care of that". She made our dream wedding possible on our shoe string budget, and we didn't have to do a thing except show up and have a blast.
