Years ago we celebrated my sister's baby shower, it was perfect. Fast forward a few years, my husband (fiance at the time) were trying to decide where to get married... Catalyst came to mind and it was go time.

We had the most unforgettable wedding at Catalyst with a full restaurant buyout. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated, and every detail exceeded our expectations.

The service was outstanding—our servers weren’t just attentive, they joined us on the dance floor for a few epic songs and made the night feel full of joy.

One of the most special moments came right after our ceremony. Robyn and Carlos quietly led us to a private room bathed in golden-hour light, where a table was set just for us with our signature cocktails, appetizers, and a handwritten note from Robyn. It was a quiet, perfect pause in the middle of the excitement, and it still makes me emotional thinking about how cared for we felt. This in my opinion is luxury, and the Catalyst team knows how to make the magic happen.

The food was phenomenal—our guests are still raving about it—and the cocktails were fresh and creative, with plenty of thoughtful mocktail options. The team also went out of their way to accommodate guests with allergies, which made everyone feel included.

One note for future couples: the actual seating capacity felt tighter than expected, we had 163 folks and had to have some of our friends in a separate room. That said, it wasn't a big deal but just something to be mindful of if that's important to you. Everything came together beautifully on the day, and the warmth and dedication of the staff more than made up for those challenges.

We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at Catalyst, and we could not be happier with our experience. Even though it has been two years since our special day, we still look back with so much gratitude for how perfectly everything turned out. From the very beginning, Robyn, the wedding coordinator, and the entire team at Catalyst went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with our requests, making the planning process smooth and stress-free.

One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was how much care they put into the food, knowing how important it was to us. Robyn worked with us to design a pre-planned 8-course meal for the evening, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Not only was the menu beautifully crafted, but they also allowed us to include a few dishes that weren’t even on the regular restaurant menu—something our guests are still talking about to this day. That extra level of thoughtfulness and customization made the dinner feel uniquely ours.

On the day of our wedding, the service was absolutely exceptional. Everything ran seamlessly, from the ceremony setup to the reception dinner and beyond. The staff was attentive, professional, and organized, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Our guests were just as impressed, commenting on how beautiful the setting was and how smoothly everything flowed throughout the night.

We are so grateful to have celebrated our special day at Catalyst. Robyn and the entire team’s dedication and care truly made our wedding everything we hoped for and more. We had our wedding at Catalyst 3 weeks ago, and I can't say enough about how wonderful Robyn and her team are. The space itself is beautiful, from the outdoor courtyard to the dinner space to the reception area. But beyond that, Robyn took care of so much for us. There were so many little details (table number signs, candles, linens, ceremony chairs, menu cards, I could go on) that we just didn't have to worry or think about because Robyn did it all. From the initial venue tour to the tasting to the rehearsal the day before, she managed the entire process seamlessly. She brings so much experience and thinks through every logistical element, including making sure the bride and groom have a few minutes to themselves to actually eat! We were able to truly be present on our wedding day knowing that Robyn was in charge. But beyond Robyn, all the staff (William, Carlos, Alan) are so warm and went above and beyond, and we are so grateful. Catalyst truly has a special place in our hearts forever!

Back in 2022, we attended a wedding here as guests and were blown away by how beautiful, seamless, and special the entire experience was. We left that day thinking “let’s do exactly what they did.” When the time finally came, it was the easiest decision, and it lived up to every expectation and more. Choosing Catalyst was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. From the very first tour to the very last dance, the entire team made us feel supported, cared for, and truly celebrated. Every interaction leading up to the big day was marked by professionalism, warmth, and clear communication, which took so much stress out of the planning process.

Robyn, the event coordinator there, deserves her own paragraph because she is simply extraordinary. She is not only amazing at her job- organized, responsive, and thoughtful; but she has also become a genuine friend through this process. On the day of our wedding, she didn’t just stand back and oversee, she was bussing tables, checking in on us, and making sure every last detail was perfect. That level of commitment and care is something we will never forget.

The rest of the team was equally impressive. Every staff member was attentive and kind, anticipating needs we didn’t even realize we had, and creating an atmosphere where we could fully relax and soak in the joy of the day. Our guests noticed, too. We received so many compliments about how smooth everything felt and how special the experience was. Months later, our families are talking about how wonderful the folks at Catalyst are.

Looking back, we can honestly say our wedding day was perfect, and so much of that is thanks to this incredible venue and team. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll not only have a stunning wedding but also feel truly cared for by people who love what they do, this is the one.

We got married at Catalyst this past June 2024 and I could go on forever about how amazing the experience was. We knew we wanted to get married at a restaurant near Boston, that could accommodate a ceremony and reception and although there are many restaurants around the city, what made our decision so easy was meeting Robyn and her team at Catalyst.

From the moment we toured the restaurant with Robyn and walked through our plan/vision for the day, we were sold. She covered everything, how the day would go, our options for the space, the ceremony, plans for rain, food, late-night snacks, and how she and her team would be with us every step of the way. They were not lying on that last piece!

Robyn and her team anticipated every need we could have had during the day/night, often offering us suggestions or bringing up details we had not thought of. When I say we just had to show up on the day and everything was ready to go, I mean it. Also, this review cannot be complete without a special shout-out to the chef for making the menu exactly how we wanted it; Carlos, and the bartenders and servers, who always made sure our drinks were full and we did not go hungry!

Our wedding day was perfect, and every detail was taken care of from start to finish. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, drinks, and how amazing the space was.

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Catalyst. Everything down from the planning to the execution to the follow-up was stellar. They knew what we needed before we did!

Part of why we chose Catalyst was their planning and service team. We reviewed lots of venues but their teams didn't give us tons of confidence. In meeting with Catalyst, we felt like we'd finally found a team that would take care of us and our guests.

They anticipated our needs and took care of the finer details, even down to making sure that we'd have our favorite beverages/snacks and a quiet moment after our vows. All we had to do was show up and Catalyst made sure our day was stress free, even when they had to make a last minute pivot for us!

Our guests are still raving about the food, service, and drinks. We often hear how Catalyst had the most tender beef they've every had and how the espresso martini was out of this world.

My husband and I had the night of our lives at our NYE wedding! Robyn was a dream to work with as our coordinator - every little detail was made perfect! From the start of our planning, Robyn was super responsive in communication and offered a ton of suggestions for vendors/rentals/add-ons! The day of the wedding, Robyn made sure that everything ran even better than planned! Our guests are still raving about the food (BIG bonus in having your wedding at a restaurant)! There are so many options to choose from to build your menu, and you truly can't go wrong with any of them. We opted for late night bites (little chicken sandwiches and fried) which our guests also loved for their shuttle ride back to the hotel! The staff was incredibly accommodating and fun through the whole night as well! I loved that they came to dance with us and hyped up our guests on the dance floor, too! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our Catalyst wedding!!!

We hosted our wedding reception here. It was a truly unforgettable night for us. We booked the Crick + Franklin combined room. Not only can it accommodate a 24-person long table, but there's also plenty of space to set up a welcoming area, a check-in zone, and a wedding cake display table. The restaurant also offers complimentary parking for guests. We ordered 4 courses of plated dinner. Every course of the day was truly astonishing. I felt really delighted when our guests told us how delicious the courses were. The wines here were absolutely fantastic as well. The Sauvignon Blanc I had here is the best white wine I've ever tasted. We enjoyed it and even brought a bottle home as a memento.

The team at Catalyst is amazing. My husband and I had to delay our wedding twice due to Covid and our party was worth the wait! Robyn walked us through the entire event during planning, offered wonderful suggestions, and could not have been more friendly and responsive. The food, drinks, servers...everything was top-notch.
The set up at Catalyst works really well to provide guests places to sit and chat, dance like crazy, grab some air, sit by the fireplace, etc. Robyn even swept us away on a couple occasions so we could have just five minutes to eat, have a drink, and enjoy the moment with each other. I cannot recommend Robyn and team at Catalyst enough, and I have never felt so taken car of in my life.

This place is a phenomenal wedding venue! My husband and I looked at 10+ venues in the greater Boston area but we ended up choosing Catalyst Restaurant. It was the best decision we made for our wedding. We got married here in August 2021 and it was just perfect.

When looking for a venue we wanted a place that had good food and was in a convenient location for our guests. Catalyst checks off every box. All of our food from cocktail hour to dessert and everything in between was exceptional. People kept coming up to me during the wedding to rave about the food and my parents kept pulling me aside to tell me how happy they were with everything. I still have people telling me how good our food was months after our wedding. Many of our guests walked to the venue since there were several hotels nearby. Those who drove in had their parking validated at the garage nearby.

We had our Vietnamese/Chinese tea ceremony inside Catalyst right before our traditional/western ceremony which was held outside in the courtyard. The restaurant is so beautiful you don’t really need a lot of decor. The courtyard area is an open green space surrounded by buildings/restaurants which was nice during the summertime because during our ceremony there was shade to keep our guests cool.

Everything went so smoothly the day of our wedding because of Robyn and her team. Communication with her was great and she acted as our day of coordinator. I made all of my wedding florals to save money and we dropped off everything the day before our wedding. Robyn and her team set up everything for us and even moved the ceremony florals indoors to be reused during the reception. We just simply showed up and enjoyed our wedding because Robyn took care of everything.

Carlo was our personal server and always made sure we had whatever we needed. He is such an incredibly nice person. The entire staff at Catalyst is absolutely amazing! Kind, professional, attentive - this doesn’t even begin to describe how wonderful these people are. They were truly excited for us to get married and be a part of our special day. They did everything possible to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. My husband and I were so happy. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Catalyst.
