We had our wedding at La Brasa in May 2024 and it was above and beyond our expectations. Daniel and his team were very helpful and flexible. Our guests could not stop raving about the food -- many said it's the best wedding food they've ever had (would especially recommend the ceviche, pork belly, and corn, although everything we got was great). We had several guests with dietary restrictions and never had to worry that they wouldn't have enough to eat. The drink menu was extensive and the service was very efficient -- they even had servers coming around taking orders so guests didn't have to go to the bar. We felt that the bar tab at the end of the night was very reasonable despite some heavy drinking by our guests. We had about 100 people and were able to seat everyone for dinner comfortably and have space for an eight-piece band and a decently-sized dance floor. We had looked at many other restaurants in the area to host our wedding and found the prices at La Brasa to be very reasonably priced in comparison to other venues. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nontraditional but incredibly fun venue!

My wedding was at La Brasa last weekend and it was the perfect day! The venue is beautiful and is large enough to accommodate a large party (we had 100 guests) but still felt intimate. The staff was so kind and helpful, and Daniel was very flexible with menu options leading up to the day. The food is so good - I have had several guests tell me it was the best food they have had at a wedding! The bartenders are also awesome and created some great signature drinks for us. We are so glad we celebrated our special day at La Brasa.

Our La Brasa wedding was absolutely perfect, and I would recommend it as a wedding venue to anyone. So many guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and we couldn't agree more. The space looked so beautiful for the evening. The bar staff made awesome drinks and the service was superb. Daniel and the entire staff went above and beyond with every detail and were so kind and helpful.

We cannot say enough about Daniel and his team and what a wonderful job they did for our Memorial Day weekend wedding. All of our guests say it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding (and we agree !!) , the service was fantastic , awesome bartenders and waitstaff , everything came together seamlessly , on time ; and as planned . Everyone was friendly and accommodating . It truly exceeded our expectations. We also did our ceremony there and it was absolutely beautiful . Daniel worked with us every step of the way and was flexible with whatever arising need we had . We will be celebrating our anniversary at La Brasa every year from now on!

We had a post wedding party here with passed appetizers to begin, and then a seated family style dinner. The food was great, and we received many compliments from our guests. The drinks and service were great too.

My husband and I got married on 9/25/2021 at La Brasa. We mainly worked with Katelyn leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Katelyn was super easy to work with! She provided us with really accurate drink estimates, arrived early on the day of the wedding to set out the table arrangements, and was always willing to have a phone call to discuss all of our questions. We're really happy we decided to go with La Brasa and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and nice venue!

I've been to La brasa before and I have always loved their food, so when we started looking for venues I brought my wife to try it out, that night we meet Katelyn the GM and we felt in love with the venue, the communication after that was flawless, all our questions were answer, we did a tasting menu 4 weeks before the wedding, and we had a couple of changes that they implemented for the wedding, they even did delicious custom cocktails for us, and got some specific liquors that we asked for.

All the vendors that we hired connected with Katelyn independently and had great experiences.

We did cocktail hour, ceremony, dinner and dancing, we had 55 guest and everyone complemented the food and the drinks, if you are looking for a stress free night, this is the place you are looking for.

We held our wedding at La Brasa in October, and the entire experience -- from the initial contact, on-site visits, menu selection, coordination with other vendors, and execution on the day-of -- was nothing short of perfect! Katelyn, the events manager, was so easy to work with, and very responsive to our (sometimes long) emails and calls. During the whole planning process, Katelyn really made sure they were realizing our dream wedding. Everything ran so smoothly on our wedding day, so my wife and I could truly sit back and enjoy without worrying about logistics. In addition, we received so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food, fantastic cocktails, and beautiful space. We are so grateful to the entire staff for making our day so special, and highly recommend other foodie couples consider La Brasa!

If you want to have your wedding/reception/private party in a place with personality, filled with staff who will make your event happen and a chef who knows how to cook food your guests will rave about, La Brasa is the only place you need to consider.

One of the great things about La Brasa is that the space itself - if it’s your style, you really don’t need to do much to enjoy the environment. All we did was have our florist (Wilfolk Flowers) bring in some small table arrangements and votives/garland for the windows. Just like that, the space was exactly what we wanted.

We worked with both Meredith (event manager) and Kelly (restaurant manager) to help make the night possible. Kelly was our night-of point person for everything, and she made everything go so smoothly. She did so much to make the night wonderful - it wouldn’t have been the same without her.

The staff working that night were welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly friendly - which was very important for us in order to have the type of reception we had hoped for. They were quick with offering to get anything for a guest, fun to talk with, and willing to make a joke when appropriate.

As always, Chef Daniel Bojorquez and his team were on-point. They crafted plate after plate of delicious food for us and our guests. If there was a single complaint about the evening, it was that there was just too much delicious food - everyone wanted to eat more and try another bite. Eating family-style helped make the evening special. Instead of feeling overly formal between new family and reuniting friends into a completely relaxed meal, full of sharing and lively discussion.

They are the best at making guests have a wonderful time, eat delicious food, and enjoy the experience. They did so much to make our night special - we absolutely made the right choice with La Brasa.

We received so many compliments on the quality of the food, drinks and service for our wedding reception held at La Brasa. Everyone had a great time and no one left hungry. Some guests even said this was the best wedding food they've had and we totally agree. We had appetizers during cocktail hour and chose the recommended seated family-style for dinner (3 courses + dessert) for around 55 guests. The choices, quality and flavors offered were exceptional, and the family style was a great experience overall. The La Brasa team was also very accommodating of food restrictions of our guests and was able to separate dishes just as delicious as the rest of the main dinner. The value for the quality was incredible. Todd Maul, who is the bar/cocktail manager since June 2024, was a brilliant addition and compliment to the La Brasa food. He was so creative and receptive to our visions for our signature cocktails. Our guests were so impressed with not only the signature cocktails but also the rest of the bar offerings. The space is also beautiful and we loved the open view to the grill and kitchen. The day-of staff were all so great and provided amazing service to us and our guests. Overall, the team was extremely accommodating to our needs and wants, especially with a few changes to the dinner menu.
Reasons for 3 stars for the average response time- we had a bit of trouble getting email responses back during the month before our reception, but realized that we got better line of communication by calling instead of emailing. We understood that Fall is an extremely busy time in Boston for weddings, however we wished we were able to get more prompt responses to pull the trigger for certain details planned for our reception. We would still absolutely recommend La Brasa as a wedding venue, and for regular dinner service (and many of our local guests said they would return for date nights).
