From our first interaction to the last dance, Gordon and Donnamarie made the entire process seamless. Their experience was recognizable from the start as they guided us through the process, answered all of our questions, and gave recommendations that made the party unforgettable. The band arrived early to set up, the stage was organized and the lights added great ambiance. We requested music for one hour before the cocktail reception as we welcomed guests and took photos. For the party, we chose a list of songs to play and the band filled in the blanks. Gordon is a great MC, directing the flow of the party and he really knows how to read the crowd. 
Gordon and his band are extremely talented musicians, we still have friends and family asking about them. We cannot thank Gordon and Donnamarie enough, we would recommend The Best Wedding Band to everyone and our day would not have been the same without them!

The whole band is extremely professional and they always deliver. We liked them so much that we consider them as friends. Gordon and his band were totally and completely INCREDIBLE!!!! They brought such amazing music, sound, positivity, exuberance, and joy to our wedding!!! The band really MADE the wedding!!! No one can believe it. People told us that they had the quality, sound, and performance of 18 bands combined. And on top of all of that, we had a very unique venue (ceremony on a mountaintop and potentially changing timelines and complicated backup rain plan for the ceremony/reception which impacted the change-over) and Gordon was so flexible and made it work seamlessly. Gordon was also such a pleasure to work with. We really cannot thank him enough or think of a better person to work with. Any time we had a question, he answered it promptly and thoroughly and often called us to discuss -- which was so helpful because he kept us calm and happy throughout the process, especially during times when I was nervous or stressed. We are so grateful for that. Gordon performed so well and his entire band was incredible! They really “read” the crowd and played the perfect arrangement -- song after song was ideal and kept the party going!!! They really live up to their name: The BEST Wedding Band -- ever!!! My husband and I, as well as every single one of our guests, were thrilled with the band through the whole evening! Our guests repeatedly came over to us to share how much they enjoyed The Best Wedding Band! They exceeded our expectations over and over - and we had high expectations given how good the showcase had been! The band was tight and rehearsed, and the song selection was diverse and programmed impeccably from start to finish. We are musicians ourselves, as well as many of our guests so we were really looking forward to having the band play at our wedding. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night, slow songs and fast songs!

The level of professionalism and talent was top-notch. The singers and musicians were fantastic. Gordon and the whole band really made the whole evening come together seamlessly.

Where do I began... The Best Wedding Band was Phenominal. They came highly recommended by a family member and oh my goodness they surpaassed our wildest dreams. Our 25th anniversary celebration was off the charts and my guest are still raving about the music. From the music to the master of ceremonies, they covered it all. My affair was in March of 2018 and we have already booked them for another event in January of 2019. Gordon and Donna are awesome and was a pleasure to work with. They are reasonabily priced and they made sure that the band played to our specification and liking. They are truly "The Best" Wedding Band Ever!!!

Our search for a wedding band was extensive, but when we saw Gordon Dukes and his band perform live at O’Flanagan’s in NYC, we knew we'd finally found what we were looking for. We were blown away by their musical talent and the fun and high energy of their performance, and we immediately booked them for our wedding. The band knocked it out of the park and had our guests dancing from the moment they stepped into the reception all the way to the moment it ended. The pianist also performed at both our ceremony and our cocktail hour, and did a beautiful job. We long ago lost track of the number of compliments we've received on the band, and to this very day people are still raving about them when they talk about our wedding. I hired the band for my daughter's wedding at the Garden City hotel. The band was spectacular!! Many guests commented on the excellence of the music. My wife and I have been dance partners for several decades and we have had experience with many bands for all types of music. This was the best.

When we were planning our wedding we realized that there are a few major expenses, like the flowers, the catering, and the band, that we could research to death, but we just couldn't know whether we'd made a good decision until our wedding day. We just had to trust that we'd hired professionals.

I'm very happy to be able to say that our trust in Gordon Dukes and his band was repaid a hundred times over. As an emcee he managed the event extremely well, keeping the pacing just right, he had a broad list of music we could pick from and gracefully handled music we requested -- what other band can do a perfect rendition of the Bob Newhart Show theme song with a week's notice? The dance floor was full from the very first song and we got so many comments on how terrific the band was.

I honestly can't recommend hiring Gordon for your event strongly enough. He made a very special day for us even more special.
