The Bertram Inn is an elegant hotel and wedding venue located in Aurora, Ohio. This spacious event center features three ballrooms with dance floors, ceremony space, and dressing area. Sitting on the outskirts of Cleveland, this venue is conveniently located 20 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is just over a half-hour drive from the hotel, ideal for out-of-town guests.
Facilities and Capacity
The Bertram Inn is available to host both ceremonies and receptions for groups of 50 to 500!We welcome guests for showers, rehearsal dinners, and engagement parties.
These flexible spaces can be transformed to match your theme, tastes, and guest-list size. Large windows, architectural details, and timeless decor provide an elegant backdrop for celebrations in both locations. Both ballrooms have spacious areas for cocktail hour, and The Hayes Ballroom opens onto a large patio outside for an alfresco feel. Couples can say "I do" on this patio too, surrounded by 250 loved ones.
Services Offered
The Bertram Inn & Conference Center offers various packages to help couples plan their big day with ease. Each package includes an on-site wedding coordinator who will assist with everything from your color palette and venue decor and lighting to menu design and selections. Food tastings are available to help you decide what dishes to include on your menu. The hotel also offers bartenders and a champagne toast -for everyone- as part of the bartending service. A dance floor, linens, and centerpieces are available to help customize the space to your vision.

The classic rooms and suites at this hotel make guests feel comfortable with cozy beds, elegantly appointed interiors, and ergonomic chairs. Great Place for a Wedding/Reception!
Trying to coordinate my wedding/reception from over 2,000 miles away was challenging but working with Alex Shaffer-Rondinella and her team made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Throughout the many months of planning, Alex was professional, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, answered my many questions and always got back to my right away. She went out of her way to accommodate any request that I had, if it was at all possible to do so. Everything I asked for was taken care of. The ballroom where our event was held looked gorgeous; the wedding cake was more beautiful than I could have imagined and everyone who attending had a wonderful time.
My husband and I are thrilled at how our reception/after party turned out. Honestly, everyone should be lucky enough to work with Alex and her team at the Bertram - they're fantastic! I can't say enough good things about my experience and if there was a way to give Alex and her team a 6+ star review, I would.

The Bertram Inn and Conference Center is one of the most beautiful and accommodating wedding venues in Northeast Ohio. Their wedding staff provides personalized service to brides, and their wedding coordinator goes above and beyond in every way to make sure every aspect of the wedding planning, and the wedding itself, runs smoothly. The Bertram's bridal tastings and their annual bridal event are truly among the best I've seen. The acoustics in every ballroom, atrium and foyer are optimal for string musicians, and sound carries beautifully throughout the bright, open spaces, even without a microphone. After photographing at the Bertram Inn this summer, I can't say enough great things about the venue. The venue is beautiful and the staff does an amazing job with everything from decor to making sure all of the wedding day logistics are taken care of so that everything runs smoothly for the bride. I'd highly recommend this venue if you're in the Northeast Ohio area!
