Joel was the MVP of our day! From having mics all set for the ceremony to curating the vibes for all parts of our day, Joel was just the best DJ we could have had -- and he is literally the kindest human on the planet. Because he had played events at our venue before, Joel was able to recommend certain things he's seen before, which helped us figure out what we wanted. He also created a google doc with all pieces of a typical wedding and asks you to populate in songs or ideas -- whether it was just a small description of a vibe we were going for or a specific set of songs we wanted to hear, Joel made it all work!

I am especially grateful for the way he was able to be flexible with the little details we had -- in place of my father daughter dance, I had a dance with my 3 brothers that was to just one song. This was a really emotional moment for my family and it just felt so perfect because of the way Joel introduced each one of them and helped it feel like it flowed. Joel made everything so seamless for us and we had so many people tell us how much they loved the music.

Joel was the chillest vendor we dealt with, which honestly made me nervous that he wasn't on top of of our playlist and preferences. I couldn't have been more wrong. Joel threw an amazing dance party--multiple friends asked us who the DJ was during the reception because they were having so much fun. He integrated our requests seamlessly with his own choices, and people danced all night. One of the nicest guys ever too. Hire Joel!

Words truly cannot describe how grateful we are that we booked Joel for our wedding day! What first drew us to Joel was his approach to DJ-ing weddings. Instead of pressuring people to get on the dance floor by yelling through a microphone, he listens to the couple/guests, observes what music gets people most excited on the dance floor, and lets the music speak for itself! Even guests that SWORE they do not dance, were dancing on our dance floor. One of our favorite moments of the wedding day was when all the guests spontaneously circled around us during the last dance; it was a truly indescribable moment that was brought about by the subtle intentional choices Joel made throughout the night to make people feel comfortable and have a good time. Oh and did we mention that Joel stepped up just a couple months before our wedding when another vendor fell through on one of their commitments to us? He was truly the BEST.

Joel was a 10/10 all around! He is very organized, and makes everything easy! He was recommended by our planner, and was very responsive to our emails. We had a consultation with him where he clearly laid out the details of what he offered, and how he would apply it to our wedding specifically (where he would likely set up, how the night would go etc). Sending him a list of the music we wanted to play, and when we wanted it to play was easy. He also let us know that he would also be able to include song choices that would fit the moment if we wanted him to or if we ran out of song choices for different parts of the day. On the big day, he did an AMAZING job with our rooftop wedding. He played everything on the list as requested, and arranged the songs that we asked him to play in a way that kept the reception fun for all ages, and lively - everyone (young and old) got up to enjoy the fun! As a bonus, he also gave us each a pair of customized shirts for our wedding - what an awesome keepsake! I can't recommend Joel enough! Thanks for making the soundtrack to our wedding special!

We cannot overstate how much fun guests had at our wedding. Thanks to Joel our wedding reception was a lively dance party, and many of our guests reached out to let us know how much fun they had and how great the DJ was. Joel made sure he played all our must-play songs as well as the classics. We were so thrilled with how collaborative and responsive Joel was, and he really helped make our day feel special and unique.

From the very first phone call, Joel put my fiancée and I right at ease! He was always extremely responsive and flexible. He did a great job of putting together a setlist for the evening, starting with our song suggestions and then also reading the room to keep people dancing. His pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality of service he provided, and we were able to customize his services to our specific event needs. We would highly recommend Joel for anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Joel was incredible. We wanted a DJ who could keep us dancing without being overpowering (DJs with big personalities who try to be loud party captains always feel more kitsch than fun to us). Joel blended into the background but kept everyone dancing for four hours straight (we extended the party). Not only was he easy to work with leading up to the day, but he went above and beyond to make our day special. Unlike other DJs who want to keep your "must play" and "do not play" lists short, he encouraged us to fill it up with as many songs as we wanted. He never played any of the banned songs (despite guest pressure), and kept everyone dancing all night. He even went so far as to buy a song off iTunes from our Best Man's awful college band just so we could prank him during speeches. Joel is awesome. Highly, highly recommend.

We hired Joel for our wedding and he has been awesome throughout the entire process! He was always super responsive and flexible - which was extra appreciated while we navigated COVID and date changes. While Joel was super professional, he knew how to put on a good party! He certainly found our vibe and had us, our friends and family dancing for hours! His transitions were seamless and song choice was excellent. We would highly recommend booking!!

Joel is such a fantastic DJ, and I could not recommend him more! He is incredibly personable, took the time to schedule several phone calls with us (one lasting over an hour), and gave us so many great recommendations. He gave my husband the fun idea to have a groom/groomsmen song for the ceremony, and our guests LOVED it! Joel was also happy to work with us to edit songs we wanted for the ceremony and reception introductions, and they turned out perfectly. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep the dance floor packed, and many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed his music.
