Facilities and Capacity
This 8,000-square-foot barn has a white facade with a black metal roof, wide shutters, and large barn doors, allowing plenty of natural light. Additionally, the venue interior is characterized by exposed architectural features and white wooden boards reaching from floor to ceiling. The incorporation of copper finishings and contemporary light fixtures adds further detail to the barn. In addition to the main event space, which accommodates up to 300 guests, the barn also contains en-suite get-ready rooms for the wedding party. Each contains various amenities, such as beauty stations, a bar, and a television. The barn also features a bar extending from the interior of the building to an outdoor porch overlooking the grounds. This outdoor location is a suitable site for couples to hold their ceremonies. Furthermore, an on-site kitchen is available in the barn for couples’ chosen caterers.
The team at The Barn at Paradise Plantation offers a number of services to help produce a successful event. The experienced staff only schedule one event per day, helping them maintain focus throughout the occasion. They can supply a range of rental items to help the big day run smoothly, including a variety of tables and traditional white chairs for every guest. Couples are granted the use of the barn and grounds for the full day of their celebrations, allowing them to set up as required. Her husband Mike takes care of the property and will do his utmost to ensure the barn is in suitable condition for the big day.
Husband-and-wife duo Blain and Lisa strive to give back to the local community by hosting charitable events, including a Thanksgiving meal for the less fortunate. Not friendly /edit
I really wish that this was a positive review for The Barn at Paradise plantation because the venue is absolutely breath taking. However, this is not the case. Don’t waste your time with a tour unless you’re willing to drive over an hour if you’re in midcities DFW just to meet with someone who definitely isn’t friendly. From the start Amanda did not greet as other venues have done, her first words to us were “do y’all want to come in”. There was no greeting , no “good afternoon”, what happened to “southern hospitality?” I guess she threw it out the window right from the start. Our tour lasted a total of 10-15 minutes yet it felt so long due to the dry attitude of our tour guide. My only guess can be that she just wasn’t interested in our business. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter how beautiful the venue is; had Amanda been friendly we would have definitely booked on the spot. Look for another venue with friendly people, it will make this stressful process feel much easier.Sent on 08/25/2020
We received a call from one of the owners the following day trying to make right of the situation. We are very grateful and appreciative of him calling to apologize and offering to help us out. However, we have decided to continue our search for another venue.
