Lucky Spur Ranch Retreat is a wedding venue specializing in rustic weddings in Justin, Texas. Facilities and Capacity
The reception barn features high ceilings and rustic decor and is capable of accommodating up to 400 seated guests. Attached you'll find a patio and covered pavilion. In the covered patio area, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery alongside your guests. Outside, you'll find a fire pit and courtyard that acts as a beautiful backdrop for photographs and a great place to relax. If you dream of exchanging your vows in an outdoor setting, there is an open lawn and altar located near the reception bar. It overlooks the ranch and features lush landscaping. The ranch is also home to an old-fashioned saloon that contains a full-service bar, billiards tables, card tables, and seating areas. If you're wondering where you'll get ready on your big day, don't worry! The ranch also includes a rustic bridal suite that is equipped with everything you'll need: There's a bedroom, a full bath, and a makeup room inside.

Perfect Wedding Venue. Must see.
If it is in the budget, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing the weekend package. We were able to spend all day Friday setting up, leading to a smooth wedding day. Sunday we hosted a brunch on site for any guests still in the area.
Esthetics wise, it is the perfect rustic style venue, but feels very elegant as well. The grounds are well maintained. The saloon on site was perfect for an after party. Our photos came out beautifully with the different backgrounds around the venue (shoutout Morgan Peña SimplyMoPhotography).
Catering: HANDS DOWN BEST WEDDING FOOD. 2025, we went to 9 total weddings. Everyone raved about the food at ours. It was a step above. Julio and Jennica did an amazing job with everything from the tasting, to say of, to breakfast burritos we ordered for morning of the wedding, to the brunch on Sunday. We wouldn’t change a thing! We had tenderloin, grilled chicken thighs, and salmon. All were delicious.
Accommodations: we comfortably slept 35 people on site without cramming it (no couches were slept on lol) but there’s room for more! The gentleman who stays on site keeps to himself but was there in a hurry if we needed anything. The fire pit was a hit. Heater worked well (and AC while getting ready).
Do yourselves a favor, book a tour, go meet Sharie and the gang there, see it for yourselves. It’s a truly special place and we now are looking for another excuse to rent it for the weekend.

SO FREAKING DELICIOUS, so kind, so responsive, so wonderful. I cannot possibly recommend Lucky Spur Ranch Catering enough! Their venue is beautiful, but we were getting married somewhere else already and were delighted to find that they catered to other venues as well!
We had fajitas (chicken and beef) they were delicious, moist, and perfect, flour tortillas were perfect too and we had all the right fixins, pork scones (not something I would have ever tried and they were freaking DELICIOUS OMG OMG OMG), Street corn (in the cutest little cups that were also freaking delicious), and jalepeño poppers (I didn't have these bc I don't like jalepeños) but our guests and my husband loved them and I quote "those were DANK 11/10 recommend".
Everyone we talked to was so kind, the tasting was so much fun and when we move back to DFW we will for sure come hang out at Mule Barn!!! Thanks so much, if you're even THINKING about hiring this vendor DO IT DO IT DO IT RIGHT NOW YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky Spur is full of southern hospitality & country charm! There are SO many options available to you out of this ranch, with multiple outdoor & indoor locations for both your ceremony and reception. Your family & guests can completely relax out there, since you get there entire venue for 12-hours. They even offer catch & release fishing, as well as skeet shooting! And one of the best parts? Overnight accommodations! You and your out-of-town guests can keep the party going all weekend long, if you want! They'll let you bring your own vendors, but it's really the best deal to use their in-house catering (and it's delicious!). You can even go checkout the food at a local restaurant & sports bar owned by the catering company. I can't recommend Lucky Spur Ranch enough.You absolutely must make a visit out to Justin before choosing the venue for your Big Day!
