I could not have asked for a more perfect venue for my daughters wedding! It was a beautiful setting among God’s creation and was absolutely beautiful! Kim and her husband were wonderful to work with and even after the ceremony I still consider them family! When we were visiting other venues in the area, they were all beautiful, but when we went to Cornerstone for the first time, none of the others were close in comparison. They really cared about every detail! So if you are looking for a venue for a wedding, a reunion, or a birthday/anniversary venue, I strongly suggest you visiting Cornerstone. You will not regret it!

This venue was so cute. Barn allowed 100 guests seating for reception and a dance floor without moving tables. Bridal party and family stayed on site with accommodations for 26. Ray and Kim were very professional and helped us where needed. Our guests loved it. We would do it again. They knew how and where to set up the food and beer truck too and totally understood the event and flow of our guests.

I've been in the wedding business for over a decade and these guys truly set the bar. If you're looking for a perfect mountain barn wedding, look no further. I wish I could give Kim & Ray more than five stars because they are honestly the best in the business!

We had an outdoor wedding with 100 guests planned for my daughter May 12, 2017 in Boone, NC. As the forecast grew more and more grim for that day, we had to make the decision to change venues three days before the wedding. I came across The Barn at Cornerstone and contacted Kim immediately. I was stressed and in full panic mode but as soon as I talked to her she began putting me at ease. She explained that although the Barn was not quite completed she would do anything in her power to help make this work. The day I visited her, the barn had no electricity. We talked through it and decided to rent a generator. The barn was still in progress but was already beautiful and rustic and I could envision something truly special there. Kim and her husband, Ray, worked tirelessly and two days later when we arrived to decorate and rehearse, the Barn not only had electricity but beautiful chandeliers were hung. We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner outdoors at the lodge that evening. The setting was georgeous and the grounds were lovely. Ray continued working on the barn up until the afternoon of the wedding and Kim attended to every detail and also coordinated with my caterer. She took so much work and worry off my hands and allowed me to enjoy every moment. We ended up having the most beautiful, intimate wedding that evening. Rain fell heavy on the roof of the barn as they took their vows. It was absolutely magical. I know that once the barn is complete it will be one of the best venues around. There are beautiful venues everywhere but you will be hard pressed to find people like Kim and Ray. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Kim and Ray were attentive to the needs of our family. They helped coordinate details during our planning and were a resource for our wedding party. Their responsiveness and forethought made our weekend memorable and hassle free. Cornerstone cabins are a great place to house the wedding party and host activities.
