Situated in the heart of Charles City County/New Kent, this 23+ acre countryside property can accommodate intimate and large-scale romantic occasions. This 5-bedroom estate has a range of event spaces. Offering all-inclusive packages, the team will work with you to create a special day that reflects your wishes.

This property is suitable for couples who wish to marry in a tranquil setting. Able to welcome several hundred people, it can facilitate ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. Upon arrival, your guests will note the abundance of natural beauty that surrounds the venue. You can exchange your vows in one of the designated outdoor spaces before heading to the an enchanting forestic or garden cocktail hour, the covered pavilion for your after-party/reception. Combining elegant decor and contemporary amenities, this space has plenty of room for reception activities. Chandeliers, candle holders, and floral centerpieces decorate the interior, and the windows allow natural light to flow in. The estate possesses a selection of renovated guest rooms for you and your loved ones to utilize.
Services Offered
Rentals at The Magnolia Mansion allow couples and their guests to use the property for the whole weekend depending on your package of choice. From Friday to Sunday, you may have access to the venue, including all of the guest bedrooms. Your choice of outside vendors- photography, DJ entertainment, catering, and officiation are more than welcome to the estate to customize your wedding to perfection. We offer a professional wedding planner and exceptional in house florist based on your budget. Available event items consist of chairs, tables, linens, decor, a prep kitchen space and more all of which can be set up by their dedicated staff. As well as weddings, the property can provide the backdrop for birthday parties, family reunions, and corporate functions.

The Magnolia Mansion is positioned between Richmond and Williamsburg approximately 20 miles from both directions. It is well-connected via road, in close proximity to Interstate-64. Following the festivities, attendees can explore the nearby attractions, including Crawford State Forest and Richmond’s Downtown district.

The owners of this venue have put so much intentionality and thoughtfulness into renovating the space and it clearly shows. Our wedding flowed seamlessly from one space to the next (because they currently have and will soon have even more options for spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception).
The other thing that I loved about this space was the flexibility of it! Because it is an inn and wedding venue, there were so many unique spaces for us to use for pictures, and even for the wedding party to spend time together after guests began to leave. Our photographer even commented on how many different options there were for pictures!
But truly the thing that made this venue extra special were the owners. From start to finish, I could tell that they were so invested in making this day special for not only my husband and I, but our families as well! They were so communicative with us throughout the process, and especially as last minute details came together. We ended up visiting the venue multiple times throughout the wedding planning process, and the owners were so accommodating with setting up times during the week that worked around our work schedules so that we could finalize details on site.
Even after the wedding, when I realized I had left a few items at the venue, the owners set my things aside and followed up with me directly about them so that I could come pick them up! This venue has all of the beauty of an upscale, classic wedding venue, with the feel of a family-owned business that really cares about making your event the experience of a lifetime!

This is a beautiful private venue for a wedding. It almost feels like it is completely yours for the entire day to relax, rejoice , and welcome guests. The owner is a breath of fresh air and will completely make The Bride and Groom and guests feel welcome and comfortable in this semi rustic old world charmer.
Oh my goodness! What is not to love about Apple Blossom! I have loved this area since visiting many times and Apple Blossom has all the charm of the South meeting the North in perfect harmony. There is plenty of space for you and gorgeous nearby places for family and friends to stay. They boast a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and yes, a COVERED dance floor outside with chandeliers! This is simply THE BEST place to tie the knot in this area of VA! And I would love to photograph the classic, romantic, joyful couple here!
