Stephanie Adamski was our venue coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She asked the right questions, had suggestions that always elevated the vision and enhanced our experience, and made sure we knew she was there for us every step of the way. We had our ceremony on the Harbor Lawn, cocktail hour on the patio, and reception in the Harbor Ballroom and the venue is just transformative in making our dream day come to life. Everyone on the team was helpful and kind — our guests commented on how delicious the food was, the space was perfect, and we truly couldn’t recommend The Abbey more for your wedding day. Lake Geneva is also gorgeous that time of year (late August) and with many of our guests coming from out of town, having the ability to do a room block at The Abbey itself was very convenient. We wanted a venue where we could have both our ceremony and reception at one place as well as all our food and beverage taken care of so we didn't have to worry about it. Stephanie was there through the whole process end-to-end, helping ensure we had a backup for the ceremony if the weather was bad all the way to planning our meal/beverage selection and my dream glow-dance theme for the reception. More importantly, she treats you like family and shows that she cares, which helped put me at ease and less stressed out (in general) every time we met or spoke, as planning a wedding can be a daunting task. She went above and beyond ensuring every meticulous detail was taken care of and making sure any special requests or questions I had were accommodated.

Our wedding day ended up being a gorgeous fall day with the ceremony right on the lake, followed by a lively reception at the Pavilion. Everything went without a hitch and all of my guests said the food & service was amazing, the ambiance was breathtaking and that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. I highly recommend the Abbey and can't thank Stephanie enough for helping make our day truly magical 💖 We can't wait to come back and visit!!

The Abbey is the perfect spot for a Lake Geneva wedding- being on the west shore of the lake but just a quick drive from downtown Lake Geneva! My husband and I knew we wanted a venue with accommodations & catering on site to help ease the wedding process. Not only did The Abbey have both of these but we received so many compliments from our guests on the resort as well as the food and beverages! Almost half our guests ended up coming into town Friday night for our Saturday wedding and made a weekend out of it.

We first toured the venue with Stephanie Adamski (wedding venue coordinator) in December of 2023 and even with the cold snowy weather on our tour Stephanie did a wonderful job helping us see all of the potential options at The Abbey. Stephanie has a gift for attention to details which we so appreciated as I will admit my husband and I are both pretty type A personalities. After every meeting with Stephanie we felt little to no stress and confident in the logistics of our wedding day. Flash forward to the big day- things could not have gone any smoother! We had beautiful fall weather and no hiccups to figure out day of. Everything was delivered as promised and all of Stephanie’s recommendations for decor and planning turned out beautifully. We could not recommend The Abbey enough and we will definitely be returning for weekend get aways in the coming years!

The Abbey is such a great place to have a wedding. They have beautiful waterfront views and the landscaping brings beautiful photos. The reception ballroom/tent set up are beautiful. Stephanie Adamski with the abbey is the best part of planning your wedding here. She is with you every step of the way and works with you to make your dream wedding happen! We absolutely loved working with her and she executed the day flawlessly. Obviously there are always going to be hiccups but she reassured you and is with you on the day making sure it runs smoothly. The food with the abbey and the presentation is also another thing to highlight. We had so many guests tell us how incredible the food was! My husband and I couldn’t have imagine a more perfect and special day! We are thankful we had it at the abbey!

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week.

Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket + note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. 🙂

Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!)

Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way.

We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family.

Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant + spa staff, to the catering + events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests (+ and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

Stephanie Adamski turned our wedding from a dream to a fairy tail. She made our special day one that we will never forget. Every little detail was perfect. Her staff and the rest of the Abbey were on top of everything and made the day go off without a hitch. We can’t thank her and everyone else enough. You will have the same experience as us and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Stephanie and the Abby.

We had our wedding in the Westshore Pavilion and it couldn't have been more perfect! Stephanie and the team at the Abbey were wonderful at making sure our day was well coordinated and that the venue looked perfect. This venue is a perfect mix of outdoor garden with the amenities of concrete floor and heat/air in case of in inclimate weather. They were wonderful with incorporating our ideas and finding ways to make them work. The Spa handled all the bridesmaid's hair and makeup for the wedding. Lisa was great at coordinating the day for the 10 girls and the girls loved the ability to be with each other while they were getting ready. All the bridesmaids raved about their experience with their hair and makeup! Thanks Abbey and Avani!

Our wedding was originally planned for 2020 but alas, covid struck and we were forced to postpone. The Abbey Resort literally made it SO easy I almost wasn’t even upset. Kelly was a DREAM to work with and is SO responsive to emails and calls. Do not hesitate booking your wedding here, you won’t regret it!

We got married last week at The Abbey after 2 years of planning and it was AMAZING. The entire process planning with staff went so smoothly. We worked closely with Kelly and she was phenomenal. Very prompt with emails and answered my MANY questions over the years with ease. She was kind and considerate through it all. The resort Itself was so pretty. The grounds were kept amazing and all of the staff was helpful surrounding the weekend. We loved every minute of our weekend and the Abbey made it truly spectacular.
