Wedding - January 2025 I had been to a wedding here ten years ago and was thrilled to book the venue for my own. We have no complaints, everything went to plan, and the staff were wonderful. Gina, the events coordinator, walked us through each step of the planning process and was very responsive as we planned our reception from across the country. The venue: two stunning rooms. We had a space for dining and another place for cocktail hour and dancing. People could have quiet conversations or dance their hearts out. The Christmas decor was an added bonus for me as a winter bride. Christmas greenety adorned both rooms, the staircase, and the front entry. They lit the fireplace for us and had faux flickering candles in all the windows. The food: spectacular. Our tasting was delicious, and the reception food perfectly mirrored that experience. We also asked to use our own recipe for our signature cocktail, and the bartender worked with us to make it happen. It was a huge hit. The event: beautiful and stress free. Our reception went so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff cleaned everything up for us, placing our items in a spot for us to remove when we were ready. We are so happy we had our event here and can't wait to come back for a date night!

Anodyne is the perfect Milwaukee wedding venue!! We had our wedding there in April of this year we we couldn't be happier. Erica is so professional and made us feel taken care of every step of the way - she truly is a gem in the Milwaukee wedding community. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and cozy the venue was. The wood tables and beams are absolutely gorgeous. We had a Grateful Dead cover band (shout out to Seaside Zoo!!). The stage was perfect for them and the sound was AMAZING! My husband got up on stage and was singing with the band - it was truly the best day of our lives! Erica, we are forever grateful!!

They have been very quick with feedback. Due to my smaller wedding they allowed me to rent some space on the top floor by the river for free. The staff have been very kind and helpful. They have helped us figure out all of the smaller dinner details and have given us the ability to chose what we want to do with the space provided.

XGolf is a perfect one in all shop for any event especially wedding receptions. We had 150 people at the East side location (Eagan Rd). Seth made it super easy for us by taking care of tables/ chairs, bar/ drinks, setup/ take down of tables/ chairs, we did our own decoration of led lite Bobo balloons, catered in Hyvee, and they had a full staff to attend to our guests. They took off so much pressure, coordination, and prep work for us which let us just focus on other things. Two things surprised us the most! 1) how affordable XGolf was as in the wedding industry everything is over priced and 2) how much our group made great use of all simulators. We had one simulator to play competitions on (longest drive, closest to pin and longest putt) and they also have darts and bags accessible for use. Our guest feedback was 5 STAR; raved about Hyvee food as we did a mix of food bars (taco bar, sushi bar, pasta bar, etc), people tried golf for first time and had fun, competitions were a hit, and we were able to give an alternative to a traditional wedding reception. Mark and I wanted to give our guests a taste of what we love, golf, and a new experience. XGolf was a slam dunk!! Thank you Seth, Aaron, Logan, and your team!

We are SO happy with our decision to book Lowlands Grand Events - Centraal Grand Cafe & Tappery for our venue space. We initially wanted to elope but decided on a budget friendly smaller wedding (~95 people). We had been to Centraal for dinner and brunch when we lived in Bayview but never knew they could be used as a wedding venue. In our research, I saw a blog post from Married in Milwaukee, where a couple mentioned Centraal was their venue. When we reached out, we learned that there was no venue fee- just a food and drink minimum. After looking at other photos of weddings held in their Gallery/Courtyard Patio - we knew it was the right fit. We also worked with Molly very closely from the Lowlands Event Planning Group who was so great to work with and so flexible. She really brought our vision to life. She was responsive, professional, and helped execute so well. The space was great for us- The brick wall and ivy are so beautiful that we didn't even need much decor to dress it up. All of the tables were modular so we were really able to use the space in a way that made sense for our guests. The deck doubles as a dance floor and it was just the right size for our group. If we had less than 60 people, we could have flipped the space but we had Oscar seating for the quick ceremony and reception which worked out perfectly. Most of the space was outdoor- which was a risk but we ended up with the best weather ever (65-70 F). The space felt so warm and intimate which was exactly the vibe we were going for. Our guests raved about it and for any Chicago folks, guests were comparing it to the cobblestone courtyard in front of Trivoli Tavern/Green street. The food was amazing, we got so many compliments on it. Service was impeccable- bartenders and other service staff were so friendly and professional. Drinks were great! We are so glad we picked Centraal/Lowlands for our venue

This was such a beautiful venue and loved seeing everything come together! They helped us decide on things we weren’t sure of. Our theme was burgundy and gold, rustic look. The food was amazing, we had the beef tips, chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, baby carrots, green beans. It also came with a salad and bread. The dj did a great job and kept the party going! We also had a fog machine for our first dance that turned out really good! Overall it was a great experience, great workers, and amazing food! Highly recommend!!

The rehearsal dinner we hosted for our son's wedding was everything we could have wanted. Working with Katelyn Arnold, the sales and catering manager, was a delightful and pleasant experience. Her attention to detail, friendliness and total competence made working with her an absolute pleasure! All of the plans were carried out to perfection and the evening flowed seamlessly. The food was outstanding and the view from the Captain's Room, overlooking the lake was magic. We were blessed with good weather and were able to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the patio. Thanks to Katelyn and the Harbor House staff for a memorable evening!
