From the moment I started working with her, I could tell how detailed and organized she was—all of my “type-A anxiety” instantly faded away. She was always on top of everything and had answers/solutions to all my questions. Her positivity, work ethic and willingness to help was so amazing. She always had my back, was available for calls, and responded quickly. My favorite part of working with her was her connection/relationship with vendors— she was able to get us deals and recommended some of the best people in the business and for that I am forever grateful. I hired Tessa over 3 years ago, early fall 2018. She stuck by me through 2 cancelled weddings, replanning every single time no questions asked. We were finally able to have our wedding on the third try this past October. My wedding was originally scheduled for early April 2020. Needless to say I was devastated when we had to cancel, due to covid, less than 3 weeks out. Tessa sprang into action, securing new dates, working with every vendor all while dealing with her own uncertainties of how the pandemic would effect her business and livelihood. Tessa is more than just a wedding planner. She doesn't just take you on as a client. She completely, emotionally and wholeheartedly invests herself. You become her entire world. Tessa didn't have to go above and beyond as a planner for me. It was not technically her job to plan my wedding 3 times over, she was hired to plan 1 wedding. It was not her job to sit on the phone with me while I cried and contemplated what to do in the early days of March 2020. She didn't have to answer my emails within minutes of my sending.. I'm not kidding, she never went more than a couple hours without answering me, it still blows my mind. But she goes above and beyond because she cares and loves what she does. She is truly one of a kind and I will never allow any one of my friends or family look to anyone but Tessa for their wedding or any other major party or event. I loved all of my vendors, Tessa helped me make all of those decisions. But Tessa and the entire TLE team is the best decision I ever made planning my wedding.

Simply put, I cannot recommend Tessa more highly. She is the creme de la creme of wedding planners all wrapped up in a wonderfully likeable and down to earth package. I interviewed several wedding planners and knew immediately that she was “the one.” If you look at photos of her work, you will clearly see that she puts together truly beautiful and downright spectacular weddings. That in and of itself is of course a huge selling point, but I must say that it was her meticulous attention to detail and her wonderfully helpful and thoughtful approach that made the entire wedding planning process a true pleasure for me.

I had a somewhat short timeline for planning (about 4 months) and was a bit nervous about pulling it off. Tessa immediately launched into action with a clear and doable plan, quickly putting my mind at ease. I think she would be a great match for a range of brides, from one who has a very specific vision of how she would like her wedding to be, to someone who is very open to different possibilities. I was somewhere in between...there were certain things that were important to me and others that I hadn’t put an ounce of thought into. For the things that I hadn’t thought about, she was able to quickly orient me and narrow down the potentially dizzying range of choices. She is truly full service and you can be as hands off or hands on as you like in working with her and be assured of a beautifully memorable experience.

People often say that their wedding was a “blur.” Probably the most telling aspect with regard to working with Tessa is that my wedding was not a blur. I truly savored every moment. All I really had to do that day was “show up” and deeply enjoy the experience because every detail was taken care of and the flow of the event was perfect.

Now while I could have just gone with a local coordinator and called it a day, I knew I wanted Tessa and her team's expertise because their work is incredible. Tessa was hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. One of the best days of planning my wedding was when we hired Tessa. My husband actually says that hiring Tessa was the best decision we made during the whole process! Tessa held an initial meeting with me and asked a lot of questions so that she could document absolutely every detail and set a work plan to assure my hopes/dreams for my perfect day were met.

When I was unsure of decisions, she was always quick to provide valuable advice and had a great list of vendors for me to chose from. Tessa was outstanding throughout the entire process. We hired her after selecting our venue, but since our venue required us to bring everything in, we really had no idea of where to start with vendors. Tessa helped navigate us through all the wedding literature with her outstanding referrals and most vendors gave discounts for working with Tessa. We were impressed with all of her vendor recommendations. Plus, she was available to assist with many other elements of planning the wedding and often had great guidance on how to execute some of the good ideas we had, and why some of our other ideas would not pan out. She was a pleasure to work with, was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, and often attended our meetings with vendors. Hard to imagine what more you would want from a planner.

We worked with Tessa Brand at Tessa Lyn Events for more than a year to plan our wedding. She was involved from the very beginning and was invaluable in helping us find our amazing venue and all of our vendors. Her knowledge was top notch and she always steered us in the right direction as we were more than pleased with the work of everyone at our wedding. I also found the cost of her fee to be completely counterbalanced as she helped negotiate with vendors and save us money in ways I know that we would not have been able to on our own.

After the initial vendors were chosen, Tessa stayed in very close contact with us and helped every step of the way. She provided continual direction with the ever changing budget. With her help we managed to not only stay on track, but ended up being under budget, which was a very pleasant surprise. She also gave us great guidance as we made every decision and helped us change our minds about some things that might have made things not run as smoothly.

When we finally got to the wedding weekend, her day-of coordination was beyond expectation. We did many DIY things that we chose to make and needed to be handled, which caused a lot of stress leading up to the wedding. However, as soon as the rehearsal started, all of that went away because I knew that Tessa was there to manage everything. This truly allowed me to enjoy every single part of the weekend without being worried and I only feel like the most happy girl in the world.

The wedding ran completely smoothly and everything was right on track in regards to timing because of Tessa's coordination. The timeline she created was perfect and if there were any big were any problems that day, I have no idea because she handled it all without us knowing.

We have discussed many times that one of the best decisions we made about our wedding was hiring Tessa Lyn Events and I urge anyone and everyone that is in her vicinity to do the same. You won't be sorry.
