We loved working with Terry & Sarah! They shot both our engagement photos and our wedding. They made us feel comfortable right away, which can be hard to do when you are getting your picture taken. They had great ideas about shots and also asked for our suggestions. On the day of our engagement pictures, it rained and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to move forward. They were very flexible and the pictures turned out beautifully! Unfortunately, it also started to rain a few minutes after our ceremony, which was on the beach, so we had to take the rest of the pictures inside. But they did a great job capturing the beauty of our venue and got many amazing action shots! They even offered to reshoot our pictures, if we wanted to get dressed up again, but we decided not to do that. For a full day of photography and getting two photographers, I think their price was very reasonable, especially compared to other vendor. We have had many people comment on how great our wedding pictures are! We highly recommend using Terry & Sarah!!

I haven't gotten all of my wedding pictures back, but based on our engagement pictures and the wedding pictures I have seen so far, I can only assume that they will be amazing. Terry and Sarah were so great to work with. I loved that they are a couple because they really played to one another's strengths in the process. They make a great team and made the whole process very easy and comfortable...which alot of times taking pictures can feel really awkward. They were extremely flexible, and listened to what we liked and didn't like...even going so far as stopping to show me a few pictures on the wedding day to make sure I liked the way I looked. I'm anal, and Terry was very patient. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in OBX or just wanting to do any kind of photoshoot in OBX. Due to inclement weather on our engagement shoot and our wedding day...I still haven't gotten those beach shots that I really want...so I'm planning on booking them again for our 1 year wedding anniversary shoot. Fingers crossed this time we get a nice day for beach pictures. Thank you Terry and Sarah for everything! You guys are the best in OBX!

Terry shot our beach wedding in nags head. Having not been from nags head we were not quite sure what to expect with a photographer. We could not have been more pleased with the service. Before our date terry and Sarah had sent out some wonderful questionnaires to get a feel for what we were looking for. Terry made us feel so comfortable while shooting and was easy to relax and have some fun to get the best shots. Viewing our portfolio has been so much fun. The editing process that they put our photos through was amazing because we have the most stunning pictures. I highly recommend terry and Sarah photography if you are looking for photos that will truly last a lifetime.

Terry and Sarah were wonderful photographers. We are from Philadelphia and found them very responsive and easy to work with. We met them at a wedding expo and loved there personalities right away. They great to work with the day of the wedding and our pictures came out fantastic! They knew exactly when the sun was setting which made our pictures unbelievable (that's us at the top of their page).

Terry & Sarah are awesome! My husband and I had an intimate (just us!) ceremony at the Sanderling Resort in Duck and only needed a small photo package. They were more than happy to shoot for one hour and gave us a great price. Sarah was so fun to work with and made us very comfortable having our pictures taken. She also suggested wonderful poses and the shots turned out beautifully! I highly recommend them!

Terry and Sarah were very friendly and easy to work with. They did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. My husband and I are very happy with how the pictures turned out. We like their style and the quality of their pictures. We met them at the OBX Wedding Expo along with some other photographers and we felt Terry & Sarah were the perfect pick for our wedding photographer. Throughout the entire process they were well organized and professional. Their prices are very reasonable. Terry and Sarah are reasonably priced, very professional, but also laid back. My husband and I were comfortable working with them and they were always pleasant--even in the rain. During the planning process, we were encouraged to come up with ideas/styles for our photographs and they were able to follow through with what we wanted.

We had almost given up on finding a photographer until we came across Terry and Sarah. Not only are they extremely talented but professional and friendly as well. From a personal stand point I hate pictures but they really make you feel relaxed and comfortable., Looking back now there are things I would change, I'm sure any bride would tell you the same... But Terry and Sarah I would definitely pick them again.

Terry and Sarah are amazing, plain and simple! From the first meeting until I received my pictures I could not be more pleased.

They made me feel incredibly comfortable the first time we met through how interested they were in what I was saying and how organized they were. It was not about business but forming a relationship. They really cared about what we wanted from our pictures and the look we were going for.

They always stayed in contact and I was comfortable sending them pictures of ideas that I liked. They took the time to go to the reception site and find the best locations, as well as come to our rehearsal. They are super friendly and were always there during the wedding and reception. And the best part is they got the pictures back to me super fast and we absolutely loved them!!!

They did such a great job at capturing our day! I think everybody should choose Terry and Sarah!! They are the best!!!

Terry & Sarah were a God send for mine and Brian’s wedding. We were searching for a photographer with a keen eye for detail, flair for style, and a price that fit within our budget. They met those criteria and more. The entire pre-wedding process of scouting locations, discussing shots we really wanted, and scheduling the day around those shots was a breeze. On the day of, they were super attentive but not invasive, and got the shots we wanted and then some. They were outstanding at thinking on their feet, finding creative spots for additional photos on the fly. The day could not have run more smoothly and I owe a large part of that to them.

Not long after the wedding they provided us with a mass of professional photos for our viewing pleasure. It was like a gorgeous flip book of our day, capturing moment by moment in beautiful detail. Terry then started to work on our photobook. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill book similar to something you could purchase through any online photo site. I figured we had paid him for photos and that was complete. The book was going to be a simple parting gift/after-thought. However, he poured as much time, attention and skill into our photobook as he had into our photos. I was amazed. It is the most beautiful book, definitely above and beyond a simple photobook you could design and purchase online.

From start to finish Terry and his wife were whole-heartedly dedicated to successfully capturing and recording the one day we could never re-create. They are exemplary people and a joy with which to work. I have no reservations in recommending them to anyone searching for an excellent wedding photographer.
