With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Taylor Garrett began planning events in high school. At Mount Everett in Sheffield, Massachusetts she coordinated and planned school spirit events, dances, proms, class trips, and other community events.

As she headed south to pursue a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL she fell in love with the health and recreation center and quickly immersed herself in the Sport Club program. She flourished as she advocated for and communicated with her clubs while also executing weekend events and tournaments with her fellow supervisors. Many UnBULLievable Races and end of the year banquets later she graduated and moved to Virginia where she worked as a bar and front of house manager for a fast casual restaurant.

Shortly thereafter, Taylor returned to the Berkshires, where she managed the office for a plant nursery and eventually pursued an opportunity in corporate wellness programming where she planned and executed large scale health initiatives for corporate clients across the United States. In search of a more hands on role, Taylor found a job for a local over fire caterer where she managed catering sales and the front of house. Inspired by an unforgettable season of private events and weddings and forced into an event hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic Taylor after a quick break began her independent event planning journey and founded Taylored & Thyme.

Taylored & Thyme is based in the Berkshires and serves destinations around the world.
