My husband and I cannot thank Toshi and his team at Spectrum Entertainment enough for making our wedding day an absolute blast! From the moment we booked him, we knew we were in good hands, but he truly exceeded all expectations. He was very accommodating with our schedule and was very easy to work with.

Toshi's music selection was stellar and really aligned with our taste! A bit of everything: r&b, hip/hop, rap but also mixing in some Hawaiian flavor & a nod to the 80s for older folks. He seemed to have an innate sense of exactly what our guests wanted to hear, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. His ability to seamlessly blend different genres and eras was nothing short of impressive, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy.

What really stood out to us was Toshi's attention to detail and his genuine passion for his craft. He took the time to meet with us beforehand to understand our musical preferences and vision for the day, and he executed it flawlessly. His professionalism and enthusiasm were evident throughout the entire process, from planning to execution.

Toshi went above and beyond for our wedding!! We have interviewed a handful of DJs/MCs and decided to go with him due to his professionalism, warm personality, and also his amazing taste in music.

During planning, we ran into a strict noise limit issue unfairly set by the venue outside of our contract. Toshi jumped on it and took the initiative to meet with the venue owner and even came up with a great back-up plan to rent silent disco headphones. He even helped negotiate the cost for us with helped TREMENDOUSLY as we were already pushing our budget. This was a huge success and our guests loved it!

Our ceremony and reception sounded great, even when the neighbors began mowing their lawn loudly while we were saying our vows. Toshi and his team instinctively turned up the volume so that everyone could hear.

Reception looked AMAZING with the uplighting and could not have been happier! I highly highly highly recommend Toshi and his team. You're paying for professional, easy to work with, and someone that genuinely cares about your event.

Toshi and his team hands down MADE our wedding reception! We had multiple changes due to Covid (venue and guest count to name a few) but Toshi was so understanding and flexible through everything - even the last minute changes. He was our DJ/MC and took care of our uplighting, audio for our live entertainment during cocktail hour, and ran a video on a projector at the start of dinner. He was very attentive and professional in our conversations leading up - making sure the timeline and song choices would be in line with our vision. We trusted him fully to execute the evening and it went better than we imagined. His MC style is a perfect mix of laid-back and energizing and he has a great ability to read the energy and keep the flow of the night moving (and on time) without feeling rushed. Same for his DJ style - he kept the dance floor full all night with everyone from our friends, to parents, to the kids. We heard from so many guests how much fun they had dancing and had multiple friends ask for his info for their future weddings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toshi and truly feel that we owe how much fun and little stress we were able to have at our wedding reception to him. Thank you Toshi and Spectrum Entertainment!

Who's THE BEST? Toshi!! We worked with Toshi for a few years, considering our wedding was initially planned for 2020, and then COVID happened. By the time our wedding was finally replanned for (the last time), we were all prepped and ready to go, many thanks due to Toshi!

We had a Zoom chat with him 2 weeks before our wedding in late summer 2021 where we hammered out all the final details, and Toshi was extremely accommodating to work with. Very professional and fun at the same time! He made our wedding reception at the Four Seasons such a success, with all of the music we love, and kept everything on schedule.

We had added headaches due to group size restrictions (thank you, COVID), and Toshi did his best to respectfully and tactfully keep the numbers of intermingling guests at bay, which is very difficult when your guests are 5 mai tais deep, lol. We also had a couple of last minute, unforeseen changes occur in the midst of our reception, and Toshi handled those like a pro. He and his team worked like crazy the entire night, but he made it look effortless.

After the reception was in the books, he told us to come visit him when we return to Oahu for beers. We really felt like long lost friends after working with him, and will definitely hit him up when we come back!

Toshi was great from the get-go. We were referred to Toshi through several sources and it makes sense why. He was very prompt, knowledgeable on his craft, and offered great advice for our event. We were one of the couples impacted by Covid-19 and had to postpone. Like many of the couples, this meant piecing together a follow-up wedding in a short time frame. Not only was Toshi accommodating, but he was very understanding of our situation.

Moreover, Toshi made it clear he wanted to make our wedding day as least stressful as possible. This meant taking our calls on short notice, talking about the venue as he'd already worked there before and been recommended because of that, and then providing us detailed sheets so that we were organized on our song and style selections. Toshi's prompt responses kept us at ease as we were planning our event.

I have no doubt that Toshi will be a great partner to work with for your wedding and/or event, and I would highly recommend him and Spectrum Entertainment.

Toshi and his crew were absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It was tough because we were a COVID couple, rescheduled our wedding multiple times. We are so glad he was available for our actual wedding day. He has a very informative consultation with you, gets to know you as a couple, and what you vision is like for your wedding. He is not only a DJ but also can be your emcee, and offers lighting and other technical rental stuff too. He was extremely helpful with helping us plan lighting around our event too, which I didn't even think about until he inquired about it. Most importantly, he is such a humble and down-to-earth guy. We had complete trust in him. And most impressive, was that I had created my own playlist of songs for our dinner reception, but instead of just playing straight from my playlist, he created a hybrid playlist with his own selections, and WOW I was blown away, it was even better than I could've ever created for myself. He is very well versed with music and we are so grateful he spent the time to get to know us so that everything media on our wedding day was just perfect. THANK YOU TOSHI for being the most amazing guy ever. He is a diamond in the rough, undiscovered gem, whatever you wanna call it, and super competitive pricing for the quality and professionalism of his work. Just hire him. You will definitely not regret it!

Toshi had done a few of our friends weddings so we knew how awesome he was already! He's so friendly and warm as an emcee that a couple of our guests thought he was a personal friend of ours lol. Great music, fun dancing, and awesome service from beginning to end! :)

Cannot rave enough about how awesome Christian was during our wedding night. Toshi started the initial conversation with us and we had a face-to-face meeting with Toshi and Christian a week prior to the wedding to finalize the song list. They were incredibly receptive to our song choice and had everything we wanted. During the consultation, they also provided suggestions to songs and how to tailor our song choices to the wedding vibe, and it worked out perfectly!

There were a lot of flexibility working with Spectrum. We had an ukulele player for our ceremony and they set her up with a mic and system to play on short notice. We also had an unexpected surprise hula dance, which Christian was very quick to provide the hula song accompaniment. We also had a dance-off, which Christian help facilitate to perfection...people loved it and it set the vibe for the entire night.

Besides providing music as we requested, Christian was very perceptive of the crowd and was an excellent emcee who carried the energy all the way though the night. I believe he even tailored the dance music (which we provided a balance of slow and club music), to feed the energy of the crowd, which ended up being just full energy the entire rest of the night. It was an excellent call he made on his own and our guests love it.

The lighting was an unexpected surprise. Had no idea they had cool lights along with the music. That was a bonus for me and it really turned up the energy for the dance floor.

Overall, just excellent. Pick these guys and you won't go wrong.

Excellent, fantastic, superb, perfect, marvelous, wonderful - the list can go on and on and on!!! Toshi is the MAN!! From the moment we had our consultation over the phone with him for his DJ and emcee services, I was sold. He is so professional, knowledgeable, and organized, and he played a huge role in making our dream wedding come true!! We can't thank him enough for all his hard work, and for being so on top of things. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted on our special day - everything from the music to the uplighting to being an awesome emcee! He gives great recommendations and advice, too! My now-husband and I had never visited our venue and were planning our whole wedding from California. Toshi really helped us out by giving us firsthand info that we wouldn't have known otherwise. He is super responsive and helpful and always made sure to answer all of our questions.

At our wedding, he was so good at sensing the mood and energy of the crowd and we really appreciate all the hours of fun he provided us and our guests! You can tell he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work - it really shows!! He is such a genuinely nice person, too! My fiance and I were blown away with Toshi. He kept our guests alive all night! Even the little kids with the "Baby Shark" song... lol. They absolutely LOVED that. I seriously don't think anyone else could have topped him. The way he lit up our venue with his lights.. OMG... sooo beautiful! We were scared that our outdoor venue (Paliku Gardens) wouldn't have enough light once the sun went down, but the way that he lit up the bushes/trees/tents was just gorgeous. He even lit up a few palm trees that "danced" to the beat to some songs! That was totally unexpected and super cool! We are soooo happy we chose Toshi and could not have asked for a better time. Thank you, Toshi! You rock!
