Denitra and Southern Sparkle planned my dream day. I truly do not think I would have survived wedding planning without her. Every vendor meeting, tasting, and tour, Denitra was right there. Every question or concern, Denitra was a text or phone call away. There were problems Denitra solved without me even knowing so to not stress me out!
Denitra also helped us plan our rehearsal dinner which took a large amount of stress off of our plate as well. Every single piece of our wedding day exceeded our expectations and was truly beautiful. I will forever recommend Denitra and SouthernSparkle to anyone planning a wedding. She had a plan, a backup plan, and a backup backup plan for everything to ensure our day was perfect. She helped us stay on budget and plan the most perfect day.

Denitra was absolutely amazing. She was responsive and knew exactly who to recommend for vendors to make sure our wedding day experience was beyond amazing. Denitra was very communicative with our vendors and talked us through some pretty hefty hiccups leading up to the big day (groom’s suit and bridesmaids dresses). When looking for a planner we wanted someone who would walk us through some big decisions by offering expert advice. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. Would definitely recommend her for other couples, and we’ll certainly be reaching back out for other major events.

We could not recommend Krisy and her team at Southern Sparkle Wedding & Event Planning more! Krisy went above and beyond to make sure all of our many questions were answered thoroughly as we were planning. We planned our wedding over the course of 2 years and over these past two years, Krisy and her team eased all of our anxiety over the many details necessary to make a wedding go smoothly. Having someone who knew the Nashville area and Nashville wedding scene was important to us, as neither one of us live in the Nashville area. Having Krisy as a planner was vital for us, as she recommended some amazing vendors and Nashville locations we ended up going with that we wouldn't have otherwise known about or come across had we not had her as a planner. Also having a planner who understood our timeless, classic elegance vision that we wanted for our wedding was key for us too, and Krisy met and exceeded our expectations with bringing our vision to life. Every detail was perfect on our wedding day because of her and her team! She was a joy to work with and we could not recommend her for your wedding enough! 

I can not say enough good things about Denitra Barnes with Southern Sparkle Wedding & Event Planning. As a venue owner, I see weddings that do not utilize an experienced planner and the bride and mother-of-the-bride are always stressed and pulled in a hundred different directions. I was so thankful my own daughter wanted to hire Southern Sparkle for her wedding, because I had witnessed them in action. The day of the wedding we were in the bridal suite having hair & make-up done, when we came out, the venue had been transformed into my daughter’s vision. Denitra and her team were absolutely outstanding and I will sing their praises to everyone.

As a bride, planning your wedding is both exciting and overwhelming. Executing your vision takes time, thoughtfulness, and experience. You may think you have the time, and perhaps you're extremely thoughtful, but it is your wedding planner that embodies all three.

We decided to prioritize hiring a wedding planner, and thus, Denitra was there from the very beginning. This afforded us the luxury of having an expert by our side with a true understanding of our vision. Denitra guided us through vendor selections. Denitra listened to our ideas and developed a beautiful design. Denitra listened when I just needed to vent, and on the day of our wedding she delivered perfection.

I want to thank the Southern Sparkle Team for making our wedding day the best day ever! I had the pleasure of working one on one with the owner and master planner, Krisy, and she is for sure the best in the business! From the very start, she was professional, organized, and answered my questions in a timely manner. It was important to me to be as stress-free as possible on my wedding day. Without Krisy, I’m not sure that would have ever happened! I knew without a doubt that she would go above an beyond to make the vision a reality! She met with me on-site multiple times, made countless connections with vendors to get just the right items within our budget, and took care of every detail in between. She and the Sparkle Team were always one step ahead! As a result, the day was nothing short of perfection! I was so glad that Denitra Barnes, one of the planners at Southern Sparkle, was available and able to assist us with month of coordination for our wedding in October. Denitra is extremely kind, upbeat, and positive - a great person to have by your side on your special day. I could tell from the first time we talked that we could be great friends. She worked so hard on our wedding day to make sure everything was seamless and perfect down to the minute. My bridal party and vendors were so impressed with her timeline! Tori, her assistant, was also wonderful, and helped save the day several times, whether it was bringing my forgotten bouquet to our first look or bustling my dress numerous times. Both Denitra and Tori have sweet and calming personalities that definitely helped relieve my stress as a bride. They are also a ton of fun! My husband and I would highly recommend hiring Southern Sparkle and these special ladies to make all your wedding plans and dreams come to life!!

We are so incredibly thankful that we had the Southern Sparkle team to help us through every step of the way with our wedding planning and on our wedding day. As soon as we got engaged we knew exactly who we wanted as a wedding planner. Working in the wedding industry ourselves we have had the opportunity to work alongside Krisy at many weddings and have seen the way she brings calm in the storm, navigates through all of the wedding day hurdles that may arise and pulls everything together seemingly effortlessly while making the brides feel relaxed and at ease. Every time I see her at a wedding I am so happy that she is there! My mom has assisted with a local florist for several years. Before I was even engaged, I received a phone call from her saying "I hired your wedding planner." My mom and the florist had interacted with several different planners and everyone agreed she was second to none. Needless to say, they were 100% correct. Even from the very first meeting, I knew we had made the right call in hiring Krisy.

Krisy and the Southern Sparkle team were phenomenal. I could not imagine taking on such a huge responsibility of planning a wedding 4 hours away. Or even 10 minutes away for that matter. She was so responsive, sensitive, and attentive to any needs throughout the engagement season up until the end of the wedding night. It is very overwhelming to begin the wedding planning process; however, it was so convenient to have an expert opinion for any & all needs for the wedding & reception. Everyone
