True Super Heroes!! The baker for our wedding cake pulled out 13 days before our wedding and SSU stepped up! They did such an amazing job putting together exactly what we wanted. With such a short timeframe, I expected to make concessions, but Allie the manager did such a wonderful job making our dream a reality! The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Very affordable for the area as well.

South Street Under was absolutely wonderful!! My entire life I knew I wanted a close family friend, Pinky, to bake my wedding cake. Everything was set from the flavors to the design and we were so excited. Unfortunately Pinky suffered a tragic fall and she passed away just a few weeks before our wedding. SSU was very understanding of our situation, met with us when it worked best for us and made sure the cake was designed with Pinky in mind. Our guests absolutely loved the flavors and the design couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you so much SSU for being way more than a bakery!

Our cake was fantastic. Really light and delicious. I provided a picture to Beth for inspiration and the cake looked even better than our picture. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious. We had a great experience with them - very easy to work with and they coordinated really well with Tuskies which is where we had the ceremony.

This vendor is mainly a cafe type establishment that my husband and I frequent a lot for their breakfast sandwiches and lunch. I noticed one time that they also do wedding cakes and quickly set up a tasting. Our baker asked what types of flavors we were looking for and came up with options. They were all yummy but we quickly picked a favorite. There was no deposit necessary and we booked with them. A week prior to the wedding, I contacted them to come in to pay my bill ( I like to get things paid in advance). I met with Beth and we sat down and finalized the plans and I dropped off the edible butterflies I wanted on the cake. I think Beth was even more excited about the wedding and cake than I was! lol They arrived on time, and the cake was beautiful, and it tasted even better. Everyone remarked on how it was simple but so visually striking. My guests also remarked on how great the cake tasted, and everyone was trying to figure out the filling because it was so good. Once I told them it was crumbled Health bar, they were like WOW...it's SO good. I definitely plan to use them again for events.
