Soundwave DJ and Photo

I don't even know where to begin...
I've been friends with Marie on Facebook for quite some time, due to having tons of mutual friends and maybe meeting a few times in our younger years.
I saw a party she posted and asked her if she photographed weddings and if she would come and work for me. Hands down- BEST decision I made in my wedding planning process.
From the first meeting, (where she probably didn't even want to take us on as clients because my husband politely insulted her), Marie was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was there to not only be my photographer, but my therapist, my wedding planner, the person I'd call when I was absolutely losing my mind, and just a friend to vent to when needed. Marie offered suggestions when I didn't know where to turn for other vendors. To say she was the constant calm during all sorts of storms is simply an understatement. Marie made it fun, allowed us to be ourselves, and at the very end of the day- turned into family. Flat out- every picture could have been hot garbage, the continuous support and true care that she gives to her clients is worth every damn dollar. The pictures were absolutely gorgeous, for the record.
We did a bundle deal and hired her husband to be our DJ. Matt was phenomenal. I have NEVER been to a wedding where 1. The DJ gave a shit enough to get all the names correctly pronunciated. And 2. Everything was executed FLAWLESSLY. They are absolute rockstars in their industry and the only mistake you can make in planning your wedding- is not hiring them.♥️

We met Marie (co-owner & photographer) in 2020 and quickly hit it off. We decided to hire Marie as our photographer & her husband/co-owner Matt as our DJ. We had to postpone 1 year due to Covid. Matt & Marie made postponing painless for us. We finally had our wedding day in February 2022. Matt & Marie played a HUGE part in making our day successful! They listened to every specific request we had and did a great job delivering. Matt absolutely heard us in regards to music choices and gave us the best cocktail hour, dinner music & dancing music we could have imagined. Marie helped guide us all day from 10:30am to 10pm. It was also a pleasure getting to know both of them & spending time with them on our wedding day! Zero regrets about hiring Soundwave. They have a whole crew of DJ’s and photographers you can research & see who fits your style best.

Marie and Matt were amazing. No one left the dance floor and Marie was great very personable. Everyone loved them! They made my wedding a dream come true.
