My name is Gayoung Kim. I grew up in Seoul, South Korea and began my career there as a fashion magazine editor. However, I always wondered about life in the US and I eventually pursued this curiosity while also following my passion as a professional pastry chef. I constantly strive to stretch the boundaries of design and style while maintaining the highest standard of quality and taste.

I graduated with high honors from the Pastry and Baking Program at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and acquired professional experience at Chef Joanne Chang's Flour Bakery + Cafe in Boston, MA, Chef Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery in Manhattan, NY and The Ritz Carlton Boston Common in Boston, MA.

It's much more than just dessert. Your cake is the center piece of your event and I'm eager to create a clean, modern design with tasteful grace and an obsession for detail.
