For a cake that is both delicious and beautiful, Soul Cake is the way to go!! We loved their variety of unique flavors and ultimately picked their pumpkin spice cake, which was perfect for our fall wedding! It was decorated beautifully as well, with such attention to detail. We would absolutely order another cake from them for future events! -

We hired Soul Cake to make our wedding cake. They were very responsive throughout the process, discussing styles, colors, and flavors. Our tasting was a "covid-safe" style, where we met them to receive a box of various flavors of cake and then went home and tried them ourselves.
They were all delicious but we ended up going with an orange cake with strawberry buttercream.
The final cake was beautiful, with watercolor-esque designs that matched our color scheme. We were so happy with it, and it tasted amazing! -

Soul Cake managed to exceed our high expectations based on their beautiful photos by producing both a stunning and delicious cake. Both flavors - red velvet and lemon raspberry - were a hit. They were also very understanding when we requested changes in guest count, left boxes for packaging the top layer, etc. Highly recommend! -

Gayoung at Soul Cake was amazing. We wanted everything that was the opposite of traditional for our special day, from custom made hand died silk fabric for our wedding gowns, to a Schooner Tall Ship as our venue. Gayoung accommodated us in every way possible, from using images of our fabric as inspiration for our cake color and design application, to blending flavors from different cakes to meet out taste buds. We went with a Honey Lavender cake with the addition of Gayoung's Lemon Curd to provide some acidity to the in your face flavor of the lavender. Our guests loved how our cake matched our gowns perfectly, having both a tropical and nautical feel to it, especially uniqueness of the cakes flavor. -

None of the guests could believe how beautiful the cake was, and once we cut into it they couldn't believe it tasted as good as it looked! Gayoung's buttercream is seriously the absolute best I've ever tasted -- not too sweet, perfectly textured -- and her eye for design is exceptional. Brava!

I sent Gayoung the picture of the cake and she made a sketch with some new details to make the cake even more beautiful. Everyone in the Wedding loved it, so delicious and beautiful! She always replied my emails very fast and the whole process from requesting a quote to delivering the Cake was very smooth, I had no problems at all. Highly recommend Soul Cake!

Our wedding cake came out exactly how we wanted it. It looked gorgeous in the venue. Tons of guests commented on how beautiful and unique it was, and that it was delicious! We got the Lemon Poppyseed flavor and loved it! -

Really loved having Soul Cake for our wedding cake. We ordered a 3 tier cake for about 100 people and had matcha red bean & blueberry coconut for our two cake flavors. I highly recommend the matcha red bean if you already love matcha/red bean! It wasn't thick chunky red bean but rather some small red bean bits inside the cream. It was our favorite between the two and so unique. I love how the cake isn't too sweet too.
They don't let you pick cake flavors when buying a cake tasting box so just be aware of that! It was a gamble for the flavors we picked but they both turned out great. Gayoung Kim is amazing at what she does and made our wedding cake so special. Thank you and highly recommend ordering from her. -
