We LOVED working with Something Blue!!! Our biggest concern was whether she had the time to see us through every part of the wedding process (bridal purchase), family complexity, programs, and our attitudes!!! (LOL)! Something Blue passed every test. Even down to the ministers we had involved. She also made sure we had a plate of food saved at the end of the day and got back to the hotel in preparation for our honeymoon. Something Blue is the BEST!

Something Blue Weddings was a perfect match for my wedding! LaToya was asked to help on the day of of the event, but went the extra mile to make sure everything was ready for the day. She called every vendor to confirm every detail, including the hotel to make sure everything was ready with the block of rooms, and guest accommodations.

On the day of the event, LaToya had a sense of everything going on and was able to stay one step ahead of me the entire time. She made sure if something wasn't going according to plan that she fixed it without my needing to know (the cake was late and I never knew!).

She designed menu cards for all my guests that matched my invitations and programs that I had already made. She also had a fabulous idea to make business card-sized "taxi" cards with information on a local taxi service, also in my colors!!! I don't know how many were used because I was busy having fun, but I thought it was a great little detail that she thought of, and designed herself.

LaToya was also highly detail oriented, with multiple checklists and timelines. She helped me remember what needed to be brought from my parents house (where I got dressed) to the reception venue and to the hotel (my dress hanger, the box for my headpiece). I would have forgotten all of that without her!

LaToya Parnell and her company Something Blue Weddings is in one word, AMAZING. LaToya is resourceful, creative, & solutions oriented. It is clear in her work that she has a passion and love for planning weddings. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. Her work is EXCELLENT. There were a couple of times when I thought a disaster was happening. Or that it was the end of the world. My daughter and I can't say enough about La Toya and her Something Blue Wedding Company. Throughout the entire wedding, from the planning stage to the brunch following the wedding, LaToya was always there, impressing us with her professionalism and thoroughness. She is also quite artistic and has a great sense of design which we hadn't expected. In addition, she is completely discrete and sensible; she always knows the right thing to do at the right time, not an easy thing for the anxious/excited/emotional bride and parents of the bride.
