We could not be more thrilled with hiring Mark and Skylark Events to DJ our wedding. First Mark totally saved the day during our ceremony when the wedding venue forgot to supply the ceremony microphone. Mark literally sprinted back and forth in the sand bringing his personal speakers and generator so our ceremony was audible! At the reception, Mark had a great dance floor playlist that kept the party in full swing from start to finish. He even let my husband and me DJ a song ourselves which made us feel so special! 100% recommend Mark and Skylark Events for your wedding.

Diamond in the Rough
Marc DJ'd our wedding a few years ago. Marc was an excellent DJ and MC. He was easy to work with, professional and played great music. Marc's equipment was new and there were absolutely no technical issues. It was smooth sailing the whole time. And, I can't believe how affordable his services were! Marc really is a diamond in the rough and we are so glad we found him for our special day. I have even used him several times since for our company events.

A Relaxed DJ Who Is Focused on the Customer
Mark was the type of DJ we wanted. He was willing to stay in the background, he didn't spout off cheesy jokes, and he was responsive to our musical tastes. He used many of our song selections and spliced in a few related tracks. My spouse and I appreciated his ability to deal with all of the set-up. On a day in which there is much to consider, it was great that the microphones, speakers, and electrical set-up was performed professionally and without our needing to be involved. Our experience with Mark was great from start to finish. We learned from our meet and greet with Mark, that he is committed to his customer and that he is easy going. We are grateful that Mark was our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. We recommend him.

Skylark Events all the way!
Skylark Events is the best wedding DJ option BY FAR! We worked with Mark who is so personable and easy to work with. The rain made our wedding week complicated but Mark remained confident and assuring from start to finish. So many DJ's are overpowering and tend to steal the show, but Mark had the perfect balance between fun and professional while keeping the day about my husband and I. He even let us DJ our own song at one point- highlight for sure!!!! I definitely recommend.

An Event To Remember
Mark Lane was very responsive to our needs from the first day that we contacted him. We didn't live in the same county and my now husband and I had opposite schedules so the wedding planning was very challenging. However, Mark was very flexible. He also was a great MC and really helped us make sure that everything ran smoothly the day of. Everyone had a great time and even a month after our wedding, all of our family members and our friends are still talking and raving about our wedding! I'm sure that we will continue reminiscing and talking about it for many more years to come :)

Would Hire Again in a Heartbeat
I couldn't be happier with Skylark, Mark & his team. I've been to probably 5 or 6 of their events now where Mark was running the show and they have all been flawless. I was so impressed my wife and I hired him for our wedding and it was seamless. Seeing as how hiring the hiring the DJ was my one job I really feel like I knocked the cover off of the ball.
Mark was able to accommodate some last-minute requests and changes like a champ and even coordinated with some of our family to help with a surprise dance number. Whether it’s a party, wedding, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skylark events.

The Whole Package: Personable, Professional, Affordable
My now-wife and I had been to two weddings where Mark DJ'd, so when it came time to plan our own wedding we knew exactly who to call. As wedding guests, we knew Mark to be everything you'd want from both an emcee--warm and personable while skillfully transitioning, always keeping the focus on the couple--and a DJ--flexible to the vibe of each wedding, keeping everyone excited on the dance floor.
Planning our own wedding with him, he was affordable and very organized while still allowing us to plan at our own pace and was consistently available when we had a question or wanted to review a particular detail of our ceremony, reception, etc. On the day of, Mark was punctual, efficient, and worked great with our planner, venue, party, families, and friends. Having experienced his work from both sides, we couldn't recommend him highly enough!

Affordable, organized, and fabulous DJ!
My husband and I were quite impressed with Mark and his work at our wedding. He was professional, kind, and extremely flexible. Not only did he act as our DJ and emcee, but he also acted as the "tech guy" and "emergency guy" when some things went wrong behind the scenes. If you are planning a big party, a corporate event, or a wedding, search no further: Mark is your guy! He came with all his own gear and made the vibes exactly what we wanted for our special day. I have given his contact info to many of my friends, who used him for their weddings as well.
