Gary was wonderful to work with from the beginning to end. Our photographer cancelled with a weeks notice and I was in need of a new one ASAP- I was recommended to Gary by my officiant and he responded right away and was there for the wedding a week later. What a great personality he has! During the shoot he had us laughing and took great shots from all sides and angels. Afterwords he did a great job editing the pics and kindly sent us a few as we anxiously awaited the official thumb drive. And when that arrived we were really happy with the photos he took and complied for us. We highly recommend Gary to capture your special day!

From start to finish, Gary was very accomodating with excellent communication. It was a little challenging to organize our COVID-19 wedding, but Gary was there to make it fun and easy for us! The pictures came out beautifully! Thank you Gary for making this day memorable!

Gary went above and beyond! He responded to my inquiry probably 30 minutes after I sent the request. His prices are very reasonable and he just made the day even more fun. He gets all the traditional shots but was great about taking requests. And when a couple of boxes of decorations accidentally got left at my house, he loaded them up in his car and took them to the reception venue. We love Silva & Silva!

When we first met Gary, it was clear he was very friendly and personable. During the ceremony, he was very respectful of the Church rules. Then during the reception, he was lively and fun. We travelled all the way from Scotland to get married in Oxnard, California. Choosing the right photographer was therefore so important to us as communication between different time zones was key. As soon as we spoke with Gary and saw his work on-line, we knew he was the man for the job. His energy and enthusiasm is amazing and his approach to helping us with the many questions we had was so professional and extremely helpful. He had no problem at all meeting us prior to our big day to take some practise shots and this was so much fun. He has a way of making a nervous bride to be feel utterly at ease. His eye for angles and lighting is absolutely wonderful and he managed to capture the true emotion at the time so naturally. We were so excited therefore when our big day arrived and he was there before hand to meet our family and get to grips with our Scottish humour which takes a bit of getting used to! But what a day he made it! He blended in without being intrusive, he made everyone feel relaxed and he truly made our wedding experience the best it could have been!
When we received our photos in a beautifully packaged box containing our flash drive after the arranged time which for wedding photos was amazing.. considering there was over 800 originally taken, we were utterly ecstatic.. very emotional and very grateful! They were amazing! We completely re-lived the day when we saw them. There were shots he captured of before the ceremony, during, after, Then the speeches and dinner and of course the dancing! We laughed, we cried and then we looked at them all over again. He had separated each part of the day into sub folders which was a very professional and helpful touch. We are still looking at them to this day!
So... for anyone out there looking for a photographer who ticks all the boxes and more.. we highly recommend this genuine, talented and caring man.

We saw Gary in action at our friends wedding and just loved his energy, friendliness and when we saw their photos... WOW! When we got engaged and started looking we called Gary and met with him.
