We would definitely recommend Gina and her team for anyone planning a wedding in Cleveland, especially if you are from out of town! My (now) husband and I live in Miami, Florida and absolutely relied in Gina's recommendations throughout the whole process. With our jobs and COVID, we weren't able to come to Cleveland as much as we might have otherwise, but we trusted Gina's expertise, taste, and style, and that made the whole process go super smoothly.

One of the highlights of our wedding planning journey was the design plan that Gina put together for us. We weren't sure what to expect or if we had given her enough material to work off of, but even her first draft plan was incredible and absolutely spot on. She included ideas and special touches we never considered that were immediately added to our plans, and we think made the wedding day extra memorable for all of our guests. Gina's team also made the design plan come to life even more beautifully than we could have imagined. We may be biased, but we think it was the most gorgeous wedding we have ever seen.

Gina always had a short list of vendors for us to consider. We would give her a sense of budget, the style we were looking for, etc., and she would come back to us with a list of 2-4 options (after having already confirmed their availability for our date) and her frank feedback on each. We can't stress enough how much we appreciated her honest perspectives and recommendations every step of the way.

The week of the wedding Gina and I were in constant communication, which was enormously helpful and reassuring. We did not have to worry about the timeline or logistics at ALL the week of the wedding, and every single vendor was where they needed to be when they needed to be there (at least as far as we know lol). Everything came together flawlessly and we could not have been happier. Even with some family/wedding parties members being a little bit unfocused, Gina ran an organized rehearsal and got everyone in perfect form for the wedding the following day (and made sure I walked out at the exact right second in the song I chose).

If you are looking for a full service wedding planner and designer with great Cleveland resources/ties, Gina is definitely the way to go!

Gina and her team were absolutely phenomenal, from start to finish, for my May 18, 2013 wedding. I had very high demands and high expectations -all of my requests and wishes were met, and all of my expectations were exceeded.
During the planning process, Gina was extremely professional and attentive. Even during my "bridezilla" moments, she was calming and reassuring. I never once questioned if I would have the wedding of my dreams. The confidence both she AND her vendors had in her work was refreshing and reassuring.
The planning process was organized, thorough and always timely. She was always available to answer even my smallest questions.
On wedding day, I had not one worry. Everything was organized and timely, and ALL aspects of the day were taken care of with ease. Her girls made sure I was worry-free, which is PRICELESS for any bride. I have to say, I feel I enjoyed the day much more because of Shi-Shi Events handling all of the details. I just had to be there, dressed and ready to go. The rest was thankfully in their hands!
I would recommend Gina and her team, hands-down, to anyone I know!

Gina and the Shi Shi team are the best! I cannot imagine having planned our wedding without Gina and all of her expertise. Everything she did from being a listening ear and voice of reason to suggesting phenomenal vendors and adding personal touches to everything made the planning process enjoyable and the wedding day spectacular. Guests said that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we felt the same. It was one of a kind and truly special. Our day was relaxed, everything went on without a hitch and we had a blast. We would highly recommend Shi Shi and can only hope that they will help us plan more life changing events in the future!

Not being from the area, I really needed help finding vendors for my wedding. Gina was a great help and had a lot of great connections with different vendors in the Cleveland area. Her decorations and lantern display far outdid any expectations I had!

Wow, was I disappointed in Shi Shi Events. They booked three weddings for our weekend which was clearly more than they could handle. We would have fired Gina and her team the week before the wedding if we could have gotten any money back. We purchased the second smallest package, "The Go Getter" which was 10% of our wedding budget. Somehow we also got talked into purchasing about $1200 worth of lighting from her husband, which in hindsight was not worth it (it was only 8 lights total I think).

Shi Shi Events was late to all meetings, disorganized, and generally frustrating. The week of our wedding Gina still had not arranged for our table, chair, or linen rentals, which meant we were still messing with planning when we should have been spending time with our family. We also had to correct her about which vendors we were using on more than one occasion.

Most importantly, with the exception of the first few interactions, Gina made me feel as though it was just another weekend, rather than the most important day of my life. She never made me feel special, and it was obvious the event wasn't anything special to her. If it weren't for the outstanding coordinators at my reception site, there is no way my wedding would have turned out as great as it did. I would not recommend Shi Shi Events.

I was very Disappointed with the quality of work performed by this group of Individuals. Always late to appointments. The date of the wedding organization was very stressful and it seemed like i hired a wedding planner for nothing because me being the bride was stressed about every organization item that was suppose to be taken care of by the planner- The seating the photo's the limo- coordintion. Big disaster... Thank God I was able to organize everything myself but this was the whole reason I hired an event planner so that i would not be stressed the day of the wedding. Waste of money. Sorry
