One of the best decisions we made with wedding planning was hiring SheribuEvents right at the beginning of the whole process. We were both in school when we got engaged so we were busy enough to begin with. This made wedding planning seem like an extremely daunting and intimidating task. Enter SheribuEvents, and I never felt like that again. Everything was so organized from the beginning and they gave us a monthly schedule with tasks to get done and when they should be completed by. Further, they helped us get everything on our to-do list done by reaching out to vendors, setting up meetings, and negotiating contracts. Pretty much all of the stressful parts of dealing with vendors was taken care of for us, and we just got to enjoy picking what we wanted for the wedding. Jibu made sure everyone was on task with monthly calls that turned weekly closer to the wedding - those were crucial for us to stay organized and not miss any details. Sherin came with me to all decorator appointments, helped me figure out dress details, and dealt with all of my ‘bride’ moments like a champ.

That was all leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding, I kid you not, everything went PERFECTLY and it was all because of them. They kept everyone stress free, dealt with all of the logistics from the venue and vendors, and kept everything running ON TIME. The best part was that we were able to enjoy the whole day without worrying about any small details. There were times where I would ask Sherin about doing something, and she would tell me she already thought of it, and it was done. SheribuEvents literally knew our wedding better than we did, and it really took a lot of stress out of the whole process.

They truly care about their clients, and it doesn’t just end the day of the wedding. They’ve made this evident to us because now, a month after the wedding, they are helping us through a debacle with our photographers. Even post wedding stressers have been taken care of by them - they really go above and beyond for their clients.

I highly recommend SheribuEvents because they are organized, trustworthy, and efficient. They have a system for wedding planning that just works, and really makes life easier for the couple. Hiring SheribuEvents was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

Jibu/Sherin have been close friends of ours for quite some time. Myself and my wife are very detail-oriented, creative, and organized. When thinking about our wedding we wanted to be able to let go ourselves and the only way we know we could do that was with the help of Jibu/Sherin of Sheribu Events! They went above and beyond and delivered on all our requests and because of that can look back at our wedding with so much joy and happiness. Highly recommended!

Jibu and Sherin have become Jibu chach and Sherin chechy to us. I contacted them 2 years in advance of the wedding because I was inquiring to figure out some information about doing the wedding in Dallas vs. Chicago. It was an instant click of them being helpful and they were especially helpful throughout the wedding planning process since I was in Dallas and Shawn was in NY and India and the wedding was to be in Chicago. We gave them a budget and they helped us stick to the budget as well as weigh out our options and helped us to make our dream wedding come alive. Even when I became so stressed out with school and studying for my boards exam and wedding planning, they were so kind and understanding and took care of me. I think even if I lived in Chicago, hiring them for the entire wedding process would be very beneficial as they were professional in communicating with the vendors and ironing out every detail. Because they were with us the entire time and not just day of coordinators, they knew everything that was going on and were able to fix anything and make everything go so smoothly. We had no worries at all for the wedding day because Jibu took care of everything for Shawn and Sherin took care of everything for me and they worked so flawlessly together as a team the entire day. There’s no doubt that we were able to concentrate on our wedding day and enjoy every bit of it because we trusted in this amazing duo to execute everything nicely. We got so many compliments about how smoothly and wonderfully our wedding went.

I have been working with Sherin and Jibu for the past past 5 years. They have been such an integral part of helping us create a photo and video schedule for the bride and groom. Sherin is usually at the dressing location with the bride until its time to leave for the church. This way the bride is never running late for her own wedding. If the bride and groom are preparing at 2 separate locations, Jibu is with the groom and groomsmen making sure that the guys are ready for photos and any other special religious ceremonies that might occur prior to the actual wedding ceremony. We've been to events where the bride and groom are their own wedding planners, which always leads to running behind schedule, leaving not enough time for photos with family before and after the ceremony. Luckily, with Sherin and Jibu running the show, the bride and groom always appear relaxed in their photos. Their superfluous timeline transitions smoothly into the evening events allowing enough time for the couple to take their family/bridal party photos, with even a few minutes left over to enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests. As a photographer and cinematographer, I love the fact that they will not allow anything to occur without our presence. It's hard to imagine but some planners will do the cake cutting without us in the room and then apologize profusely after the fact. If you are looking for a professional and extremely personable team to coordinate your wedding weekend, just leave it to Sherin and Jibu to put your mind at ease and for you to enjoy your once in a lifetime wedding festivities.

Sheribu Events did an AMAZING job coordinating our wedding. Jibu and Sherin are such a great team. Jibu started having meetings with us periodically months before the wedding, and made sure that we were on track with all the tasks that needed to be completed. He kept us organized and accountable. Sherin was a huge help to me as an out-of-town bride with vendor recommendations. She also did an amazing job designing the cover and text of our ceremony booklet, as well as our seating chart board. This was all leading up to the wedding, but on the day of the wedding, I really don't know what we would have done without them!
On the morning of the wedding, Sherin was at the hotel with my bridesmaids making sure that everyone got ready on time. She set the room up and got everything ready for the hair and makeup artists. She made sure that every small detail was taken care of so that we wouldn't have to worry about it. And Jibu was doing the same thing over on my groom's side as well! Jibu was really instrumental in getting our church ceremony started on time, and making sure that everything ran smoothly all day. I had two dress changes at the reception hall, and Sherin was there to help me with that as well. Our wedding was about 425 guests, and we have gotten so much positive feedback about how organized and well-run it was. We highly recommend Jibu and Sherin to any couple who is planning to get married - they will take great care of your event, and also make you feel like family :) Thank you so much Sheribu!!!

Sherin and Jibu are an awesome duo. They walk into a room and are able to handle any size audience, including my 930 guest wedding. Jibu checked in with us routinely throughout our wedding planning process to ensure we were on track and it made wedding planning less stressful. Jibu was organized and this made it that much easier to know exactly what we needed to get done.
