Genuine- Im convinced Shana was a psych major in college. She has such a gift with people, she can handle surly in laws, stressed out brides, snarky vendors, and all personalities in between. At the end of my wedding night, my husband was acting up and being drunk, and I was devastated. She calmed me down, assured me how normal this was, and got me to recognize what a beautiful and successful night we just had.
Reasonable- Shana runs this business all her own, so her low overhead means you get her for the most affordable rate out there. I shopped 5 wedding planners before going with Shana, and her lower price never meant a compromise in quality of service. I hired Shana 3 months before my wedding date, hoping to hire her as a day-of planner. For a reasonable fee, Shana worked as my full-on coordinator for all the remaining details that had to be handled within those 90 days. I think I got the better end of that deal.

I recently got married and I owe it all to Shana! Being a former wedding planner, my expectations were extremely high for the person who I would want there on my wedding day. Although I knew Shana personally, there was a reason I asked her to be there for me, day of. I trusted her and I knew that she understood my style, personality, and attention to detail.

I started speaking to Shana when it came time for me to order my save the dates. I had seen everything and just could not pick one design. I was all over the place. Shana custom designed a letterpress save the date which was simply chic. Over the next few months I would email her - obsessively, asking for her advice and opinion. A few months later, I contacted Shana in regards to ordering my invitations. Living on the west coast it was difficult to pick something out. I actually for the first time in my life didn't have a care in the world. I left the single most important day of my life in Shana's hands. She was absolutely the best. The days after my wedding - I cried. Only because everything was so perfect that if I had to do it all over again I would not change a thing.

When my fiance and I decided that we wanted a wedding that really felt like "us", we fell in love with The Green Building in Brooklyn, but that meant bringing in everything, from the caterer, to the tables and chairs, to the bar. And with less than a year to plan, I quickly became overwhelmed.

Shana came to the rescue with AMAZING recommendations for the big stuff like an officiant, music, photographers, stationery, and the smaller details like hair, makeup, and calligraphy. From the very beginning, Shana took charge of my large to-do list, and kept me on-time with the things that only my fiance and I could do (registering, guest lists). I called Shana "my wedding trainer" because she helped me stay on track with the things I needed to do so that I could enjoy the wedding weekend.

ON the big day, Shana and her staff were so organized. She made sure everything ran smoothly, only involved me in things she knew I would want to have a choice in, and she allowed me to enjoy the day and not worry about the details of setting up, or breaking down the space.
