We do not even know where to start with Sea Stars Catering. They went above and beyond anything we could have imagined for our wedding and helped us create the perfect day.

We decided to use Jamie as our coordinator and caterer, and boy, was she worth every penny and then some. Jamie helped us every step of the way and recommended awesome vendors for florals, bartending, transportation, photography, music, and rentals. We used everyone she suggested, and every single vendor was incredible.

Our venue fell through two weeks before our wedding, and throughout the chaos, Jamie was there to help us find a new venue, keep us so calm, and create the most amazing wedding day despite only having two weeks to re-plan everything. We never would have been able to pull it off without the help of Jamie and Sea Stars!

Chef Paul’s food was spectacular, and our guests are still raving about it!! Every dish was delicious, from the lamb pops and crab cakes to the fried artichokes and the black cod, squash, and steak main courses. Everything was so so good, and my husband and I wish Chef Paul had a restaurant so we could go eat his food again and again.

We could not have asked for a better wedding day. We were able to be stress-free and present with our family and friends, which is mainly due to all the help from Jamie, Chef Paul, and the staff from Sea Stars. We cannot recommend Sea Stars enough, and if we ever need a caterer or help with an event in the area again, we know exactly who we are going to call :)

Jamie was great throughout the entire process and helped us create our dream menu for our wedding day. She was even accommodating for my picky sister. Everything we ate was so delicious and fresh. We all still talk about how much we loved the meal!

Look no further, this crew is the best there is for Carmel & Big Sur weddings. Cannot recommend them enough, truly exceptional. Can we get married again (to the same person) ?

Jamie was fantastic with arranging catering for out small wedding at Wind and Sea Estate. The food was excellent, Chef Paul did an amazing job. She also did a great job helping coordinate what might be needed for the day. Recommend to everyone having a wedding in the Big Sur area.

We hired Jamie to cater and coordinate our wedding, I can't say enough good things about our experience with her. Our original wedding date was in 2020, we decided to postpone to 2021 and she was so gracious and helped us find a new date. We only hired her for day of coordinating but she went above and beyond to help us find the right vendors and to answer my hundreds of questions leading up to our day. We had never even visited our venue prior to our wedding day so we had so many worries and questions about the space, she made us feel at ease. She was professional and so calm and kind. The food was absolutely incredible, it was not only the best "wedding food" I've ever had but honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. All of our guests were impressed with chef Paul and her entire team. I highly recommend hiring Sea Stars for your event!

I highly recommend Jamie and her team, especially at Big Sur venues like the Wind and Sea Estate. She has so much experience and the food was phenomenal. She also provided day of coordination for an extra discounted cost, which was the only reason our wedding went as smoothly as it did!! Totally worth it.

I wasn’t sure what I needed help with when I first contacted Jamie, but she walked me through what I needed to know with ease. After our first conversation I decided to hire her as my wedding planner and caterer. She’s great to talk to, knew exactly what I was going for, and exactly which vendors to get in touch with. My wedding day was perfect, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend her for planning, but if that’s not in the budget, day-of coordination with her is not to be missed! Also, many many people told me that the dinner was THE best food they have ever eaten! She hires the best chefs, is a culinary genius herself, and really made the experience feel like I was eating at the fanciest restaurant around. I cannot say enough good things about her and her company. I only wish I could stay in touch and do it all over again!

Jamie was the reason our wedding was so beautiful, why our dinner and dessert was so delicious and every hour of every moment went smoothly! I Highly, highly recommend her. Seriously the food was better than any wedding I’ve been to with such a homemade feel and professional quality, with kind and attentive serve staff! She knows what she’s doing, and had a great assortment of rentals to choose from as well.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jamie from Sea Stars Catering & Events for our Big Sur wedding! I’ve never seen someone who works behind the scenes get as much praise as she (rightly so) did from our guests.

Jamie knows the area like nobody else - she helped us decide on vendors and referred us to the best DJ, transportation, rentals, bartender, florist, and even local wines to serve. She can really give you the proper guidance to make your dream wedding a reality and is everything that one should look for in a wedding planner. She is professional, incredibly talented, detailed orientated, organized, creative, and very accommodating. You can truly get the sense that she cares as much about your event as you do.

Her catering, also knocked it out of the park when it came to hors d’oeuvres and dinner! She helped us select a variety of passed appetizers and customized a family-style dinner menu! The food portions were very generous (nobody left hungry) and the quality of the food was top-notch, as Jamie hand-picked seasonal ingredients from the local farmer’s market before the big day. The food was delicious, creative, fresh, and fit perfectly with the venue and region - we couldn’t get our guests to stop talking about how much they loved it all!

Did I also mention that Jamie is a pastry chef? She made a number of desserts for us – such as freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies and home-made macarons! She also made our wedding cake - which was as delicious as it was beautiful and by far the BEST cake I have ever had. I even ate the leftovers for breakfast the next morning, and am already counting down the days to our first anniversary so that we can eat that top tier!!

We still cannot get over how great Jamie and her entire team were! If you are planning to have your wedding in Monterey, Big Sur, or Carmel, do yourself a favor and hire Jamie!

Jamie was our caterer and planner, which made most of our wedding-planning process stress-free. We provided her with an idea of what we wanted, a few specific details, and let her do her thing. She's responsive, has a great design sense, and everyone keeps telling us how the food that her team served for our cocktail hour and dinner was the best wedding food they've had. The week before our wedding, we found out it was going to rain and Jamie really threw it into high gear, figuring out tents and rearranging our reception design so that we could still have our wedding outdoors. In addition, Kristen, our day-of coordinator for SeaStars, was vigilant, taking care of us the entire day and ensuring everything went well!
