Our wedding at Big Sur Bakery was such a magical night. The location and details of the restaurant are something that cannot be replicated. Danielle contacted us via email through a WeddingWire inquiry and we set up a date shortly after for us to visit the venue. We have camped in the Big Sur area several times and always stopped at the bakery for a pastry of coffee, but never really explored the entire restaurant or property. After our visit with Danielle, we knew this was the perfect location for us - outdoors meaning minimal decoration because everything spoke for itself, delicious food (you must have the pizza and fried chicken - all our guests loved it!) and Danielle and the Bakery staff made our night a dream come true with their professionalism and friendliness. Danielle set up phone calls with me throughout the months before the big day to make sure we were always on the same page and I was always astonished at how organized she was. She was so detailed about our wedding, it felt like she was only working on our wedding, when in reality I know she was juggling many others.
Also, our wedding was a destination wedding - we live in the San Franciso Bay Area - so having Daniella be so responsive and attentive to our wedding was so helpful. Our wedding would have not been possible without the amazing service and staff at Big Sur Bakery. Everything was perfection not only because of their own high standard but because they genuinely cared about us and our wedding guests on a level beyond customer service. We had the meaningful wedding we dreamt of. If you are looking for a venue along the coast - Big Sur Bakery is where boho hippie wedding dreams come true! Big Sur Bakery was amazing, Danielle was my favorite vendor to work with. She was patient and understanding and extremely helpful! The food was amazing and the entire reception was seamless because of her. They were accommodating for my requests, and made planning a destination wedding (all the way from Atlanta, GA) as easy as possible.

If you are looking for an intimate setting for a small wedding reception then Big Sur Bakery is the way to go. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs. Mariah, the event coordinator, is organized and quick to respond to you via email. Her attention to detail was top notch. The Big Sur Bakery offers exceptionally good food. The patio is the perfect size for a small party. You feel like you are the only ones there. It was a perfect venue!
