When I first got engaged I didn't know left from right in terms of the wedding planning process, and in fact didn't have the slighted idea on what I wanted at all from flowers to colors to vibe. I did know, however, that I was going to need help, and after a cursory peruse on Wedding wire, I came across Sassy Girl Weddings. The reviews were just spectacular so I figured I'd reach out, and it was the best decision, hands down. Uyen is the warmest, easiest person to talk to and immediately not only made me feel like we were instant friends but also put me at ease that she was going to be someone who really cared about the process and was extremely professional. I ended up using her as a full-time planner and couldn't recommend it enough. Uyen is very organized and helped keep me on schedule, which was my main concern. She answered every late night, nervous email with a smile, and even guided me/the team me through the Palisades fire last year that nearly engulfed the venue. Uyen is special and I can tell loves her trade, making every bride and groom fall in love with the process too. I don't even think I gave her a clear idea of what I wanted or what I was imagining, but somehow, she totally nailed our wedding. I think that just speaks to the amount of experience she has and to the fact that she is always listening and truly working on giving you your dream wedding. I also think her vendor references/recommendations are absolutely priceless. Reviewing and picking vendors was the most daunting task to me, but Uyen made it super easy by giving me a whole list to choose from and providing descriptions on how they work/pros/prices. She was also super open/prompt with reaching out to vendors that I had found. In the end, we went with all vendors that Uyen recommended and the night couldn't have gone any smoother. The BEST wedding coordinator ever! In a sea filled with shady coordinators in Southern California, I'm so grateful to have found a gem who is Uyen, the sassiest and most amazing coordinator based in Long Beach. She is sassy, fierce and professional when it comes to being super organized, staying on top of vendors and managing your budget wisely. She even saved me from a parking situation with our hotel and a spoon issue from our rental company which resulted in us getting back a refund! I cannot thank her enough for all the hard work and long hours that she poured into our wedding because her dedication shows and everything was executed so smoothly. She handled all the logistics and managed all vendors (which she has the best recommendations) from the planning phase to the day of the wedding, which alleviated a lot of anxiety and stress. As the bride, I really appreciated not having to worry on our special day and just enjoy every minute of the event. There wasn't a task too big or too small that Uyen couldn't handle and she's also the most responsive person I've ever met, even when I have a question in the middle of the night! Uyen is absolutely amazing! We were planning a wedding from another state and were worried about our limited ability to travel and vet vendors in person. Uyen provided us with such thoughtful and detailed information on vendors and questions to ask – it made the planning process so much easier!
Day of the wedding, none of us (parents included) had to deal with any of the wedding logistics. Uyen gave us a detailed schedule and took care of all the details to keep the event moving perfectly.
