Sarah was so easy and down to earth to work with. We gave her very little instruction, and she still captured so many great shots - even on a moving boat!! Price was very fair for what we got in return. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sarah Gates Photography for any photoshoot needs. Both Sarah and her colleague Jack Dawson were so easy to work with, and we had so much during our shoot! Neither my husband or I enjoy taking photos or being the center of attention and it truly was a fantastic experience where we could be ourselves and enjoy the moment.

Sarah was amazing and I would highly recommend working with her for any photography needs! We had the pleasure of working with her for our small backyard wedding last October. From the planning, to our engagement shoot to the actual wedding day, she was wonderful to work with and made the whole process seamless and above all, fun. Our engagement shoot was the first time my husband and I had been professionally photographed and she helped guide us through different poses and made us feel totally relaxed. It felt as if it were one of our friends photographing us. One moment I won’t forget is when Sarah saved the day by bustling my wedding dress (in less than 5 minutes) when my mom and sister were struggling, but not before handing me my signature cocktail to sip on while she went to work. The photos themselves came out beautifully and really told the story of our magical day. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a more genuine, professional, laid back and all around fun person to capture all of the special moments of our day. We would love to work with her again one day!

Sarah is unbelievably great at what she does! She photographed our engagement shoot recently and will be shooting our wedding. She made my fiancé and me feel so comfortable. Despite us both generally not loving being in front of the camera and going into it a bit nervous, we left having had so much fun! The photos came out absolutely amazing. She had done her research of the best spots before we showed up at the location, so hit the ground running. She also gave us all the direction we desperately needed of how to pose (while making it look totally natural)! We got more photos than expected, which is of course a huge plus. I am still in awe of her work and am so glad she’ll be at our wedding, too.

Sarah was such a great photographer for our NYC engagement shoot and wedding photos in Vermont, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. Our experience with Sarah was exceptional. We're not a couple that generally "loves" taking photographs, but Sarah's professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm made the whole process awesome. She was super-efficient, the photos came out beautifully, and her turnaround time on getting the photos ready was really fast. Plus she was really just a sweet person.
