The Henry Studio has been providing fine photography to Massachusetts and surrounding New England areas since 1945.


Located in Holliston MA, The Henry Studio is a full service photography studio complete with a storefront, studio space and a professional staff. If you’ve been looking for an experienced photographer, you’ve found it! Rich Powers has owned the studio for 17 years and before that Rich had owned his own photography business for 6 years. In addition to the thousands of portraits he has photographed over the years, he has photographed well over 1000 weddings. Much of the business we do is with repeat customers and referrals from happy clients. You can trust us and our years of experience to capture any part of your life from new families, senior portraits, to weddings.

Wedding and reception

Rich did outstanding job on my daughters wedding last year where only a few of us were gathered due to Covid. The reception happened in September 2021. He captured the warm and funny events throughout the day….So many beautiful pics and poses groups dancing he did not miss anything So many pics to choose from . Flexible ,pricing very reasonable professional true artist…..beautiful wedding wall portraits……Thanks for these memories Rich.

The Henry Studio provided our wedding party with impeccable service that was both professional and made us
feel comfortable on a very important day in our lives. Rich made sure that all of our requests were taken care of
easily with no interruptions in the evening. With a very large family, pictures are always very difficult to coordinate, but he
handled it with ease! Our pictures have always been the highlight of our wedding that everyone still compliments to this day.
The Henry Studio remains our family photographer after ten years and we look forward to working with him for another ten!

Rich from the Henry Studios was my wedding photographer and he was excellent. His services were actually included in my wedding package, so I can't speak to price, but he was so easy to work with. He brought an assistant, which made everything move smoothly. I have heard from friends that photographers can often be bossy, but I didn't feel that way at all. He made sure to get all the pictures we wanted and checked in often to see if there were any group pictures that we wanted. He got everything he needed early into the evening, and even offered to give us a credit towards additional pictures and leave early rather than taking more pictures of everyone dancing. The pictures came out beautifully. Very easy to work with.

Rich was great and even made arrangements to split the time between two days for us. We had a hard time picking out our pictures to order because there were so many fabulous shots!

5 stars all around!! Rich and Hannah were absolutely fabulous for my wedding on 10/10/15. First off, they are punctual which is always important to a bride, well this one at least! Rich has a great sense of humor that put me at ease and helped myself and my now husband feel more comfortable in front of the camera, so we were able to have a blast the whole day/night. The quality of the photography is phenomenal and I am so happy that I will not have these photo's as keepsakes for years to come. Rich offers incredibly fair pricing and his main goal is to make sure that the bride and groom are happy. We can't thank The Henry Studio enough and will be sure to refer to any friends and return in the future for more portraits!!

Rich and Hannah were the dream team; there is not other way to describe it. Rich went above and beyond from the moment my husband and I met him. We told him what we wanted, our price range, and what we expected. Rich made it clear that we would not have a worry in the world and he was right! I have never seen a photographer get a group that was as talkative, loud, and excited as our wedding party to be so cooperative as he did! Rich worked fast and always had a plan. He came up with some incredibly amazing creative poses for my husband and I along with our wedding party. He even showed up to take pictures when we were getting our hair and makeup done! I would not look further if you are looking for a photographer that will put your worries at ease and do the best job. We are so pleased with Rich and could not be happier!

Rich is awesome to work with! He makes you feel so comfortable and makes you laugh when your not used to taking pictures. He does an awesome job during weddings, he took us where he wanted to go and we did not have to worry about a thing during our big day! The Henry studio is very reasonable prices and the quality of the pictures come out awesome!

I would absolutely recommend Rich for anyone who is looking for a photographer. He is professional, efficient, and takes amazing photos. He has a very fun, outgoing personality and was easy and fun to work with throughout my wedding day. We absolutely love how our pictures came out and will definitely be going back to him in the future!

Rich helped capture the essence of our wedding from shots with my family getting ready, to ceremony, to the reception! He was available to help answer questions and had great ideas based on his cast experience with other brides and weddings.

Rich also shot our engagement photos and was wonderful getting us a couple of outdoor sites and was AWESOME at including our dog in both engagement and formal wedding shots!
