Sarah was so easy and down to earth to work with. We gave her very little instruction, and she still captured so many great shots - even on a moving boat!! Price was very fair for what we got in return. Highly recommend. -

I highly recommend Sarah Gates Photography for any photoshoot needs. Both Sarah and her colleague Jack Dawson were so easy to work with, and we had so much during our shoot! Neither my husband or I enjoy taking photos or being the center of attention and it truly was a fantastic experience where we could be ourselves and enjoy the moment. -

Sarah was such a great photographer for our NYC engagement shoot and wedding photos in Vermont, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She is a great communicator, helping us plan leading up to both photoshoots and put us at ease knowing we had someone so capable in charge of photography. We wanted the true Vermont foliage to be the main focus of our wedding and she nailed it!
Amanda was a second shooter at our wedding, she was incredible being a support to Sarah and also capturing important shots and helping with props like using our biodegradable confetti for one of our favorite shots! We’re so grateful for the creativity and the amount of work both did for us and will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives.

She is helpful, fun, low key, responses to everything in really short time frames and really really tries to get you exactly want you want.
Taking photos with Sarah feels very natural, not staged at all and that's exactly what we wanted!

Sarah was so easy to work with! Her photos are comparable to those of photographers charging $4k+ for the same services. She spotted some amazing places to take pictures at our venue that we hadn't previously thought of! -

Sarah is so wonderful to work with, we really couldn’t have asked for a better person to photograph our wedding.
We both tend to shy away from being in front of a camera but Sarah made us feel extremely comfortable. In fact, most of the time we didn't even realize we were being photographed! She has such an artistic eye which made our photos feel truly magical.
Beyond our wedding day, from our first meeting to delivering our photos, she was extremely professional from start to finish. We cannot recommend her enough! -
