Sarah is truly incredible! From the very beginning, she made me feel so taken care of and was so thoughtful throughout the entire process. It’s always a challenge to find a hair and makeup artist who understands East Asian features and hair, but Sarah exceeded every expectation. On the wedding day, we were running behind due to indecisiveness in my party, yet she managed the situation so gracefully while still prioritizing my hair and makeup. And I will say it’s quite impressive that everyone was happy with their look because I had some hard-to-please individuals.

She stayed through my morning ceremony for touch-ups (something I’ll never regret booking her for) because with all the emotions and tears, it was absolutely necessary for our private shoot afterward. She even prepared a small touch-up kit for me to use later in the evening for the reception. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, skilled, and caring artist. Sarah is a dream to work with, and she made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

I still looked like myself, but I've definitely never felt more beautiful!! Sarah not only made my loved ones and me feel so special and pretty but also saved my wedding by making the transitions between the ceremony to the pyebaek to the reception seamless. I would have never been able to put on the traditional headdress without her, and she even updated my look to match the outfit change. Most importantly, she nailed my mom's look and made her so happy, which meant the world to me. I not only wholeheartedly recommend Sarah (and Colleen, who did the stunning makeup for my bridesmaids and MIL) but strongly recommend that any bride who works with her invests in touch ups, too!

Sarah was an amazing makeup artist who truly knew how to do makeup for Asian faces. We had a really useful trial, and I really valued that she listened to me and took my feedback readily into consideration. She is extremely organized and communicative. On the day of the wedding, we all looked great thanks to her and her team. Our hair & makeup looked beautiful and natural, and it lasted all the way through the end of the night.

I knew I would love working with Sarah the moment we met during the trial. As someone who doesn't wear or know a ton about makeup, or spend too much time on hair, I didn't know what to expect for wedding-related HMU, but Sarah made the process so easy. I appreciated all of her suggestions and guidance, and she has a great sense of attention to detail – I was thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding event, as it felt like "me" still, only elevated, and got so many compliments. The best part was also how lovely of a person Sarah was – such a pleasure to work with!

Choosing Sarah and her team to do my hair and makeup for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the hair and makeup trial, I knew Sarah was the right choice because she did a great job listening to my vision for my wedding look and making adjustments/experimenting. She had great tips and ideas and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. My wedding was during the day, so we had to have a very early start time on the day of--Sarah worked with me to craft a schedule to get my girls and me ready on time for photos/etc. well in advance of the start time of the wedding. She and her team showed up right on the dot on the morning of and ensured that everything went seamlessly. My bridesmaids, my mom and I all looked AWESOME, and my bridesmaids raved about how good my hair and makeup team was. My priority in picking a hair and makeup artist for the wedding was finding someone who not only is super talented, but who is a good communicator, and Sarah is just that! Highly, highly recommend :)

Sarah did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding in August 2018! I had my trial in January 2018, and I was so impressed by her work, professionalism, style and overall genuine personality that I booked her right away without even considering any other trials. On the big day, she definitely did not disappoint! I received compliments throughout the day about how intricate and beautiful my hair was, and even better, my hair stayed intact the whole day (even after hours of dancing on hot, humid day). My bridesmaids were also thrilled with their hair as well. I would definitely recommend Sarah and if I ever need my hair professionally done in the future, I will definitely contact Sarah again!

Sarah and her hair skills were easily my favorite part of the entire wedding planning process. She was extremely professional and thorough from the initial email inquiry, the hair trial, and all the way to the wedding. I got married on a hot humid day in July, and I requested for a voluminous updo with a large braid. My hair held up the entire night - did not need any additional pins or hairspray! I got so many compliments from my guests on my wedding day. My bridesmaids (who have all been bridesmaids before) have said their updos by Sarah were the best they’ve had as well. I cannot recommend Sarah enough!
