  I've never felt more beautiful!

  Sarah was an absolute joy to work with. I LOVED my wedding day look: I knew exactly what I wanted, and Sarah helped make my vision come to life. She listened to all of my concerns and worked with me to make sure I had everything I needed the day of. I've never felt more beautiful, and I highly recommend Sarah to future brides!

  Stellar experience for my wedding week

  I knew I would love working with Sarah the moment we met during the trial. As someone who doesn't wear or know a ton about makeup, or spend too much time on hair, I didn't know what to expect for wedding-related HMU, but Sarah made the process so easy. I appreciated all of her suggestions and guidance, and she has a great sense of attention to detail – I was thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding event, as it felt like "me" still, only elevated, and got so many compliments. The best part was also how lovely of a person Sarah was – such a pleasure to work with!

  Beautiful natural look. Felt like myself and confident!

  Sarah arrived punctually at 5am for my morning wedding. She listened to what i wanted and also gave good advice. She gave me a beautiful look that was natural and i felt completely myself. Would love to work with Sarah again, strongly recommended!!

  Sarah is amazing!

  Choosing Sarah and her team to do my hair and makeup for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the hair and makeup trial, I knew Sarah was the right choice because she did a great job listening to my vision for my wedding look and making adjustments/experimenting. She had great tips and ideas and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. My wedding was during the day, so we had to have a very early start time on the day of--Sarah worked with me to craft a schedule to get my girls and me ready on time for photos/etc. well in advance of the start time of the wedding. She and her team showed up right on the dot on the morning of and ensured that everything went seamlessly. My bridesmaids, my mom and I all looked AWESOME, and my bridesmaids raved about how good my hair and makeup team was. My priority in picking a hair and makeup artist for the wedding was finding someone who not only is super talented, but who is a good communicator, and Sarah is just that! Highly, highly recommend :)

  Amazing experience!

  I worked with Sarah for my big day as well as engagement shoot. She is simply amazing! The work that she does is very high quality and she is open to hearing your suggestions and what look you want. Her prices are reasonable given what you get. Needless to say, weddings are very hectic and I was so grateful to be able to rely on her to keep us on track and get everybody ready when they needed to be. My wedding could not run without her!

  Sarah is wonderful. She's stylish. And boy is she talented! Ive had three great experiences with her as a bridesmaid- she is very accommodating and easy to work with. Having my hair styled by her is always fun and comfortable, I know my hair is in good hands. Sarah knows what looks good and makes it look effortless! Her style is distinct- not super polished and uptight like most wedding stylists. She has a very natural touch to her work. That wispy nonchalant strand of hair? It's there on purpose. To top off the great experience, she generously gives easy tips for better hair styling at home!

  LOVED working with Sarah!

  Sarah was an amazing hair/makeup artist! She was so easy to work with, so capable and flexible, and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. She is incredibly thoughtful and makes sure to listen to your vision and feedback to help you feel like yourself (but just more beautiful!). I really appreciated Sarah's flexibility with my day-of wedding timeline when we had a few logistical changes to sort out. She also was wonderful to work with for my trial/engagement session, taking her time to make sure I felt comfortable with each step of my hair and makeup process. All of my bridesmaids loved their look as well, and my sister (who's getting married next year!) is planning to work with Sarah again for her own wedding! Sarah is the best!

  Summer Bridal Hair

  Sarah did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding in August 2018! I had my trial in January 2018, and I was so impressed by her work, professionalism, style and overall genuine personality that I booked her right away without even considering any other trials. On the big day, she definitely did not disappoint! I received compliments throughout the day about how intricate and beautiful my hair was, and even better, my hair stayed intact the whole day (even after hours of dancing on hot, humid day). My bridesmaids were also thrilled with their hair as well. I would definitely recommend Sarah and if I ever need my hair professionally done in the future, I will definitely contact Sarah again!

  I loved working with Sarah! She was very responsive from the beginning when I first reached out, answering all my questions and very friendly and easy to work with. My trial with her was seamless and she took all of the things I was saying to come up with a beautiful look for my wedding. I'm usually more on the indecisive side so it was great to have someone who knew what she was doing to suggest ideas for me. For the wedding day, everything came together beautifully and I was very happy with the result and never had to worry about timing or anything. It lasted all day without my makeup running or hair coming undone even though it was hot in the middle of summer. I would definitely recommend working with Sarah :)!

  Sarah and her hair skills were easily my favorite part of the entire wedding planning process. She was extremely professional and thorough from the initial email inquiry, the hair trial, and all the way to the wedding. I got married on a hot humid day in July, and I requested for a voluminous updo with a large braid. My hair held up the entire night - did not need any additional pins or hairspray! I got so many compliments from my guests on my wedding day. My bridesmaids (who have all been bridesmaids before) have said their updos by Sarah were the best they’ve had as well. I cannot recommend Sarah enough!

  Better than I can ask for

  Sarah is A-MA-ZING!!! I was lucky enough to have her as both my wedding hair AND makeup artist this past summer. My impression of Sarah had dated back years earlier when I was a bridesmaid and she was doing hair for my friend (the bride) and all us bridesmaids. Her elegant and natural style left a deep impression, and I remembered feeling very pretty as a bridesmaid. So naturally when it came my turn, I asked my friend for her contact. As someone who usually skips makeup and does nothing with my hair, I requested for the 'natural' look with a braided up-do. I always feel heard by Sarah, from our trial meeting to the wedding day and all our correspondence in between. In fact, I love her style so much I asked that she took over my bridal makeup as well without getting a pre-wedding makeup trial with her. On my wedding day, Sarah did not disappoint! She did the most beautiful hair and makeup, and I love how it came out in the final photos! The best hidden deal behind all this is how Sarah helped me come up with a package that works for my budget. I feel so lucky to have her as my hair and makeup artist and would recommend her to any of my friends!

  A stress-free and enjoyable experience

  I'm so lucky to have had Sarah work on me and my bridesmaids. Sarah has worked with most of my friends and I knew I wanted her to do my hair immediately! She was incredibly professional, comfortable, and easy to work with.

  Sarah had completed my friends hair for her wedding. My friend’s hair was gorgeous and lasted the entire day, for 12+ hours. I reached out to my friend to find Sarah for a trial. Sarah was willing to meet me at my house and had completed 3 different looks. I didn’t have a particular hair style in mind, based on my face shape and the style of the dress she was able to create multiple looks for me to make a decision.
  
  She was very accommodating, giving me all different ideas considering I wasn’t sure what I wanted. She was able to work with me and answered all my questions from hair accessories to veils.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Sarah was on time and was prepared to start even though I wasn’t even home yet. I had booked Sarah to do my hair, my mother in law and my mom. Sarah was so flexible she started with my mom and mother in law first while I was rushing to get home. She was able to complete both blow-outs on time and through the entire process kept her cool even though I was running around trying to get everything in order. I hadn’t actually decided on what I wanted on the day of the wedding but had sent Sarah ideas prior without any trails for the updo. I cannot believe even without the trial she was able to create a beautiful updo for me. She was professional throughout the entire process, especially under all the stress I had put her through. She had always made me feel very comfortable around her even with my million questions.
  
  The updo lasted the entire night and felt sturdy (sometimes with updos, it feels loose), and held up from noon to midnight. Thankful that Sarah was able to work with me and was so accommodating. I would definitely refer Sarah to anyone. She’s the best :)!!!

  Sarah was extremely helpful, kind and patient throughout the entire experience. For 2 months, Sarah and I exchanged emails consulting what to do with my hair in preparation for the wedding day. On three separate occasions, we talked on the phone for 30+ minutes just to make sure I was comfortable and felt prepared for the day.
  
  On the day of, she came to my apt at 5:00am and was extremely professional throughout the whole process. She completed my hair in 45 minutes. The results were AMAZING. I have had my hair done in the past for special events. My hair would never last / matched my face / style. But with Sarah, and 97 degree weather, my hair lasted 15+ hours of celebrating and photos. I never thought that was possible. Everybody commented on how beautiful my hair was and people have already reached out to see who my hair stylist was.
  
  Sarah is extremely talented and professional throughout the whole process. She is extremely trustworthy with different types of hair and knows how to make sure you get what you want. You are definitely making the right choice with Sarah.

  Sarah Ahn Bridal Hair did not disappoint on my wedding day! I was so stressed during the whole wedding planning process and sometimes I was a mess. That did not stop Sarah from giving me the best quality service. She was prepared during the trial and knew exactly what I wanted. She tried several dos until I knew it was the style that I was looking for. I just adore her style and can tell she has a lot of experience in this field. She was always professional but at the same time friendly and down to earth. If you have a particular style in mind, she can do amazing things. If you do not know what you want, she can still do amazing things! I will definitely recommend all my future girlfriends to Sarah!

  Sarah Ahn Bridal Hair did not disappoint on my wedding day! I was so stressed during the whole wedding planning process and sometimes I was a mess. That did not stop Sarah from giving me the best quality service. She was prepared during the trial and knew exactly what I wanted. She tried several dos until I knew it was the style that I was looking for. I just adore her style and can tell she has a lot of experience in this field. She was always professional but at the same time friendly and down to earth. If you have a particular style in mind, she can do amazing things. If you do not know what you want, she can still do amazing things! I will definitely recommend all my future girlfriends to Sarah!

  I hired Sarah to do hair for myself and all of my bridesmaids. She was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. I didn't know what hairstyle I wanted so I sent her a bunch of pictures and she kind of combined them to get the perfect look. I loved how my hair and all of my bridesmaids' hair came out!
  I have very straight, thick hair that does not like to hold a curl but she managed to get my updo to stay up all night (from around 9 am to midnight), even with all the dancing and wind (it was a very cold and windy day). My updo did become loose but, it became loose in the most graceful way, it looked intentional. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a hair stylist! She is super talented and sweet!

  Sarah did my hair and my mothers hair for my wedding and I absolutely LOVED it! She is professional and incredibly accommodating when it came to what I wanted for my hair and my hectic schedule. I have very fine and straight hair, which typically does not hold curls or styles for more than a few minutes but my hair on my wedding day lasted the entire day from morning until night. My mothers hair is thick and difficulty to style but Sarah managed to tame her hair beautifully.

On the day of the wedding she was on time (even a little early) and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. I knew I would be well taken care of! My hair came out gorgeous and I was so happy with the outcome. She also stayed to do some touch ups and also change my hairstyle for the reception and Korean traditional ceremony that we were having. All in all I was very impressed with the quality of her work and her sweet personality. She went well above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend her.

  I loved my hair trial with her, she made suggestions and gave professional insight on what may or may not work based on what you want to look like vs what your hair naturally does. At the same time, I never felt pressured into anything (unlike some other people who try to sell add-ons just for the sake of up-selling or don't really take the time to understand you). I thought what she did at my trial was already amazing taking the random pictures I sent her of people who don't look like me and whose hair was nothing like mine, and my vague descriptions of what I wanted and turned it into a beautifully done look that lasted all day. She definitely took it up a notch for the actual wedding. My hair for the wedding lasted ALL day and well into the night without feeling heavy or overdone- even after I worked up a good sweat on the dance floor multiple times. I ended up with soft big wavy curls with lots of volume (think an elegant and toned down and more wavy/curled version of Jessica Rabbit slash Victoria Secret sexy hair). This look is hard to maintain all day- but magically, it lasted through the next morning too. She also did the hair for my 6 bridesmaids. I did mismatched dresses for my bridesmaids, and I also gave the girls full control of what they wanted to look like. Sarah did amazingly with 6 different personalities and hair types and lengths who all wanted different things with different levels of complexity. Everyone looked like their own version of a beautiful and elegant, with a hint of sexy and glam princess- yet all looked effortlessly natural. Everyone's hair lasted through the night, without the use of a million pins.

  The theme for my wedding was bohemian garden and Sarah nailed it! She was very skilled at knowing what style would match me, and made my thin, flat hair look voluminous and full. The hair trial I had a month before helped a lot too because I had wanted a front braid, which she did, but through it I realized it made me look too young, which she had advised me about. She was super patient and professional with me because I couldn't decide what exact style I wanted, and in the end, my wedding hair looked amazing! All my 7 bridesmaids' hair looked so pretty too and everyone's was unique and perfectly styled according to what they each wanted. She also had time to do my husband's hair!

  Sarah is a magician! She did my hair, as well as 6 of my bridesmaids, on my wedding day. My hair is extremely difficult to work with, coarse, but treated with japanese magic straight, and extremely long and thick. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, but Sarah had some helpful insights that I didn't think of before. Regardless, she did a few hairstyles I thought I really wanted at the trial, only to realize that she was absolutely right. She even modified the original hairstyles I wanted with my thoughts and inputs so that I would feel at ease knowing that we would try every which way to make the hairstyles I thought I had wanted to work. I was very skeptical about doing a low up-do, but also wanted her to give it a try, which she thought would look the best on me. And lo and behold, she made me feel like a PRINCESS. Sarah is very insightful, but not pushy. She will work with you, even though you're probably wrong (lol), to make you feel comfortable. Very accommodating and gracious. And I received so many compliments on my hair! It completely held through terrible winds during my outside ceremony and dancing through the night. All my bridesmaids loved her, too- I gave her a few images of the hairstyles I wanted on the girls / the style I was going for, and she nailed it. Also to add- she is also very punctual, and very responsive, which are HUGE when it comes to your wedding day. She also kept very calm and steady, a welcomed presence during a time of utter chaos. After the huge success with my wedding, I also hired her for a very formal event in NYC, and again, she made myself and my mother and aunt feel like a million bucks :)
