Conveniently located off a major highway at the Southwest corner of Hwy 75 and Arapaho, just a few miles from downtown Dallas, the Center is nestled right in the heart of North Dallas, Plano, Garland, Addison, Allen, Frisco, and McKinney…. And we’ve got the market cornered on accessibility!

Once you get here, you’ll be even more impressed by the facilities. Our beautifully landscaped building offers a combination of professionalism and tranquility for a truly perfect event location! A multilevel concourse, which spans the length of the building, separates the beautiful City Hall and Civic Center. It is topped off with a half-dome glass ceiling that allows for natural lighting for the tropical plants, which line the walls. The center itself is 22,000 square feet and ample free parking is easily accessible.

With rooms varying in size from 550 to 8,400 square feet, accommodating anywhere from 10 to 750 people, conventions, lectures & career fairs, banquets & receptions, graduations & dances and birthday & holiday parties are just a few types of events the Civic Center can assist.

The flexibility of the facilities and the talents of the customer service oriented staff makes the Center perfect for events of virtually any type from quick briefing sessions to elaborate, multi-day, themed events.

    The Richardson Civic Center is so great!! My sister had her wedding here two years ago in the Grand Hall, and this year I had my wedding (a smaller wedding) in the Richardson Room. The room was perfect for my wedding, and as always, the staff at the Civic Center was so wonderfully accommodating and helping me plan and keep things coordinated, as I live in New York City, and the wedding was going to be in Texas. I am so grateful for all of the help that I received, also, check out the fountain area outside the back doors--it is absolutely beautiful for any backdrop of photos! The price for the Richardson Room for the full day is a very good deal, and we were able to get in ahead of time and decorate, as there was nothing happening in the room the day before. Overall, for what the Civic Center provides, it's a very good deal.

    We had our wedding and reception at the Parks room in the Civic Center. Our event was a dream come true!
