In his years in television photojournalism, photographer Richard Mossotti covered human disaster and celebration both locally and worldwide. Richard was an award-winning photojournalist and a member of the National Press Photographers Association when he began to make the transition from television to still photography in 2005. Richard began to adapt his career experience to the new medium by assisting some of the best wedding photographers in New York State. He began to immerse himself in the natural flow of the day, anticipating key moments and unobtrusively capturing them with aesthetic flair. Most importantly, he learned to focus on the wishes and experiences of the VIP of the day, The Bride. He discovered that an incredibly important part of his role is to accommodate and assist her in making the day everything she dreamed it would be.
