We had a wonderful experience hosting our Rehearsal Dinner in Rhubarb's private event space. The beautiful private room allows for minimal need for additional decor. The food and presentation was top notch and the service we received throughout the event was amazing. Our planning experience with Katie was seamless and she made sure to make note of any personal touches we wanted. Highly recommend for a memorable, intimate dining experience!

We booked Rhubarb for our wedding in June 2020, which eventually turned into a small post-wedding celebration in September 2022. Rhubarb was flexible in rescheduling with us (3 times!) and in allowing us to keep many of our initial custom requests 2.5 years later, despite changes to their own offerings/policies. They were happy to customize menu items, room setup, and services to meet our vision. Perhaps most importantly, our guests RAVED about the food and service. A full third of our guests work in either events or food & beverage, so they won't sugarcoat, but some of them are still texting about how great everything went that night. We've always loved Rhubarb for their food & service in the restaurant, and can confidently say they carry the same standards into their private event space. Plus, it just looks super cool...win/win.

Catherine and the whole team at Rhubarb were great handling our ceremony and reception. Catherine made sure to work out all of the kinks with the transition from our ceremony to reception. I cannot say enough about the food! That is originally why we booked rhubarb for our wedding, but that night it was the best we’ve ever had there! The space is very cozy and you need minimal decor because it speaks for itself. Rhubarb was perfect for us and we are so grateful for the memories!

Rhubarb is the most AMAZING venue for a small reception in downtown Asheville. We hosted our reception here for about 40 guests and it was perfect. Elizabeth is a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. She answered all my questions in a timely manner during the planning process, helped me with food/wine choices, and met with me the day before to go over everything since I decorated myself. The space is beautiful and the food and drinks are DELICIOUS! Guests were raving about the food for days (the hot pepper jelly duck biscuits are a must for appetizers). Their pastry chef made our cake and it was gorgeous and delicious! I cannot rave about them enough and would recommend them to everyone! If you are looking for a rustic spot to host a rehearsal dinner or a smaller reception, then Rhubarb is the perfect option.

The day after our wedding I booked Rhubarb for my parents 50th wedding anniversary/ our wedding day after brunch. Elizabeth was such a delight to work with and everything was very streamlined. I had not seen the event space prior since I'm from California, but it exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event!

If you are thinking about having an intimate wedding reception, booking Rhubarb is a MUST. We had an intimate dinner after our wedding with 14 people total. Elizabeth is amazing to work with and the food is to die for. Elizabeth coordinated the day, made suggestions and helped us when our day-of wedding plans changed because of weather.

We chose Rhubarb as our reception space for a 70 person destination wedding. Elizabeth was such a pleasure to work with on the coordination of our evening and everything was executed flawlessly. The entire team/staff was incredibly friendly, diligent in meeting the needs of the guests and was always a step ahead of me in knowing what I needed! The drinks and food were AMAZING and we received countless compliments on both from the guests. The space itself hardly needs decorating, as the aesthetic speaks for itself and allows for gorgeous photos. If you are looking for a space to host a smaller, more intimate style reception, Rhubarb is the perfect choice.

We just had our rehearsal dinner here and it was AMAZING! First of all- Elizabeth is incredible- so coordinated on everything! The food was out of this world and our guests loved it! No need to think twice- just book it! She even had cute flowers on the tables and a nice welcome sign for our guests!

We had our Rehearsal Dinner here and everything was perfect! Elizabeth was so accommodating and met our vendors ( florist) so we didn't have to worry about a thing other than showing up. The one thing we would've liked was for pictures of the room, decor,and flowers and decorations to be taken before guests arrived so we could put them in a book for our son and daughter-in-law with other photos. But that was very minor in the overall scheme of things. Loved working with everyone at Rhubarb

We had a mid-afternoon dinner for about 15 people after a small service. Generally, I think we were on the easygoing side - we had a couple of suggestions and for the most part we were happy for the team at Rhubarb to make suggestions and handle things. They did a great job! The space was beautiful, the food outstanding, and the service very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend.
