Reverend Mike made our special day, oh so very special. Could seriously not ask for a better person to marry us. He was personable, weaved in the Aloha spirit as well as the Hawaiian ways. Saying we would recommend him is an understatement. We were crying from the first song in our wedding (Henry Manua was our singer who was super great too) and I swear I saw tears in his eyes too!

We did a destination wedding for our daughter in June 2023 at the HHV in Honolulu. I found Rev. Nelson on WeddingWire and reached out and we had a discussion. I liked him immediately. He met with my daughter and her fiance, got a sense of what they wanted and he made some great suggestions for the ceremony. He further got to know them after we booked with him and then met him for the rehearsal. He was wonderful and he crafted a meaningful sermon for their wedding that reflected their style and beliefs. I was afraid that the ceremony would be cold and lack a personal touch since we were having a destination wedding and that was not the case at all. He was amazingly professional and added a ton to the day. He was obviously very skilled and used to doing this but was also very engaged and made my daughter feel special and when we met him it's like he wasn't a stranger. If you can book him!!!
