Renaissance Orchestra was absolutely amazing for my wedding, in so many ways. My (now) husband and I looked at A LOT of bands before making a decision because we both knew having excellent music would be one of the most important elements of our wedding. We were blown away by the versatility and talent of Renaissance Orchestra. At first we thought 10 pieces was too large of a band size for us and our venue space, but I confirmed that they would fit our stage and it was SO very much worth it to hire them with that many band members. They can play such a wide range of music and genres. They have numerous members who sing, so the songs sounded just like the original artists. Having a band that could play Bruce Springsteen well was really important for us, for example, and they nailed Tenth Avenue Freeze Out (which was 1 of the 3 songs we asked them to learn for us... Which they offer at no extra cost!)!!
Phaedra, the band manager and emcee, is extremely responsive (responds faster than any other vendor I’ve spoken with and she gave me a heads up when she was going on vacation for a few days). She really helped me plan the evening and timing well in coordination with my venue’s day of manager.
We hired them for the reception, cocktail hour and ceremony (piano and flute). They really were amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests who were beyond impressed. They kept our guests on the dance floor throughout the night, even some family members that we wouldn’t have expected to be up and dancing around!
I would 110% recommend them!!! I dream of an opportunity to be at another event that they play at.
