Based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Max Hansen Caterer is a Full-Service Wedding Caterer with 30 plus years of experience. We are known for our incredibly delicious food, or as our clients call it, "Gourmet Comfort Food!" That is matched with our exceptional Service. Besides the quality and consistency of our Food, our Staff is our greatest asset. Many of our Staff have been with us for 20 plus years, which is uncommon in the Hospitality Business. Our philosophy is "take great care of our Staff so that they will take great care of our clients". We are blessed to still work with Families that we started working with 30 plus years ago.

Our focus is on making the entire experience as user friendly as possible! We will help plan your menu, while we have extensive menus, we are happy to customize a menu to suit your vision for your special day. We often incorporate family favorite dishes. In addition, we will coordinate all your rentals, staffing, non-alcoholic beverages, etc. One stop shopping!

We are Caterers who understand what the word truly means, we are here to do what you would like us to do. Our sole purpose is to help you realize your vision for your "Special Day". There is no "One from column A and one from column B". We are in the relationship business, once you work with us, we want you to never look for another Caterer! Logistics are our specialty. We are also in the "Solutions Business", it is our job to figure out how to make your dream come true!

Catered our wedding

I can’t say enough great things about Max Hansen, Pam, and their staff! They catered our wedding last weekend and did an outstanding job. I would recommend them 100 times over!

Max Hansen leads his talented chefs and gracious staff to cater Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve's Spring Gala each year. His culinary creations delight over 300 guests who come to the Gala enjoy good friends, beautiful wildflowers, and delicious food.
The Preserve's Gala is the best party in Bucks County and we we believe that Max Hansen Caterer's is a big reason why!

We used Max Hansen Caterer for the Wild about Flowers Gala in April 2015. The food was absolutely magnificent -- creative, delicious, and fresh! This is no small thing since the Gala is an outdoor tented event and Max basically has to set up his own field kitchen. Max and Rita were helpful and responsive as usual as we planned the menu for the evening. The night of the event the wait staff was courteous and respectful to our guests and made sure that they were comfortable hand wanted for nothing. Rita went the extra mile for us even lent her artistic talents to create the tent pole coverings which were a beautiful focal point of the overall design.
Max Hansen Caterer is simply the best there is for making your event special and memorable.

Max Hansen Caterers were a very lucky find for us. We were married this summer at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms and were very fortunate that their exclusive catering partner was Max Hansen. The food was absolutely delicious, and they had a lot of creative options for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. Kathy Newman and Sharon Cheney were a pleasure to work with, and were instrumental in making sure the wedding ran smoothly. Thank you so much!

Working with Kathy from Max Hansen was a dream! She was so responsive and helpful, we must have sent 1,000 emails back and forth! I loved the food options for the wedding, and even though we never did a tasting, the food was OUTSTANDING! They say brides never eat at their own weddings, but I ate three of the meals! Kathy helped us coordinate with the rentals as well. Thank you for a great wedding dinner!!

We used Max Hansen Caterer for our rehearsal dinner and I cannot rave enough about Rita. She was simply amazing! We had a Russian theme for our rehearsal and Rita went above and beyond at making the evening filled with delicious food. She put so much thought and care into the menu and making sure the evening was running smoothly. People could not stop commenting on how good everything was! If we could have hired them to cater the wedding, we definitely would have. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for awesome catering.
