We hired Garry to do the Gify booth at our wedding after meeting him at another wedding. The Gify booth is so much fun to have on and around the dance floor. It captures another aspect of your wedding and is digital favor for your guests to keep forever. It is so much. There were literally hundreds of gify's from our wedding and we love them so much!

10/10. So impressed with Gary & Redwood & Rye Studio. Not only is Gary an incredible talent, his direction and personality are what make him extra special. Wedding photos with large groups and families can be difficult and stressful, but the way Gary handles it and takes charges is unmatched. We were able to get all the photos we needed and wanted and made it to cocktail hour! I love that he scoped out the area and then came back to us with places that would be great for photos. He has such a creative eye and the pictures are better than I could have imagined.
Not to mention all my friends loved Gary! Would 100% recommend!

Choosing Redwood & Rye as our photographers was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The entire process was stress-free and seamless with them - from our first intro call all the way through to finalizing our album. Gary, Lisa & Jamie are not only incredibly talented, they're also genuinely awesome people (which is important for someone who's spending so much time with you on your wedding day!). We were absolutely blown away by both our engagement photos & wedding photos (Gary even hustled to get our wedding photos to us in advance of Thanksgiving so we could look at them in-person with family). They have a way of bottling genuine emotion with their photos - every time we look at them, we're taken right back to how we felt on that magical day. Working with Jamie and his crew was a fantastic experience! Everyone was super friendly and made me feel completely at ease in front of the camera. The pictures were stunning and Jamie even put together a slide show that i could easily share with family and friends. We found Redwood and Rye from a facebook contest they ran the summer we got engaged. They included fun engagement prizes along with a package. We won diamond ring pool float koozies which were perfect since we had just bought a house with a pool. During The contest they incorporated bobbing for beers and dogs choosing a winner. I knew i needed a photographer with personalities like these guys. Gary was fun to have shoot our wedding. Both groomsmen and bridesmaids shared many laughs with him.

Redwood & Rye have done a tremendous job! The two photographers we had (Gary and John) have gone above and beyond our expectations. They were professional, creative, and personable. Their attention to detail in pictures, even the little stuff, did not go unnoticed. Both of them adapted specific photo opportunities to our environment and the results were stunning. They listened to ideas, has plenty of their own, and captured our memories in ways that stand out from any other photographer I have seen. Redwood & Rye completely blew us away and since they do more than just wedding photography, we will be using them again in our future.

Lets start this review off the right way - my wife and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to document our celebration of love with!! When we set out to find our wedding photographer, we had a few crucial criteria to help navigate the abyss but didn't expect to make such close friends with the team we chose in the process. Gary and Lisa are superb people, with a passion and flair for life that goes far beyond the camera lens. Gary has a serious eye for detail and an uncanny ability to reinterpret a moment in an elevated perspective - taking inspiration from both set and setting. This guy is truly a photographer's photographer, and blessed with a heart of gold. The portfolio of R&R isn't a collection of one-off's; there's an underlying thought and intent to every shot you see, and this is exactly how Gary approaches his work - constant progression, evolution, and inspired reinterpretation. His photos tell your story in a way you experience, but cannot describe. I can't recommend his work highly enough.

The work of R&R in many respects speaks for itself. But what is important to note is that these aren't just face-value talents; they're skills that augment the personalities of some seriously wonderful people who - as is certainly true in our case - have become long-term friends. Their flexibility in working with our budgetary requirements and still delivering a top shelf experience is something we hold in high regard.

Day of the wedding? Gary was on-time, organized, in solid spirits and ready to party! From his arrival on throughout the night, he was involved in the guidance and direction of our Groomsmen, our Bridesmaids, and most importantly - ourselves - and seamlessly oscillated between casual observer to active engager. Trust me, this level of dynamism is what you want in a photographer, otherwise you're bound to end up with a collection of shots that tell the same exact story from the same exact perspective, start to finish. Which gets stale and repetitive real quick. Yea, those two words are not ones you want to think of on a day that you're supposed to look back on with smiles for the rest of your days.

We hired Gary to shoot our wedding and could not be happier with the decision. Gary photographed my sister's wedding and we had been so impressed with how her photos turned out and how great he was to work with that we knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding, when the time came. Not only is Gary unbelievably talented (we are particularly stunned by the low-lighting photos he took in the evening and how amazing they came out!), he is also a complete pleasure to work with. He is easy going but always professional, an excellent listener (he really took into account the things we wanted to remember and highlight about our day in our photos), and was always ready to offer good advice to us in the planning process when we needed it. We felt that pricing was incredibly fair given the quality of our photos and the items included in our package, including an additional photographer on site with Gary during the wedding. He even prepared a quick photo deck on an iPad so that folks could take a peek at our first look photos and portraits at the reception, which was such a nice touch. I still have guests asking me for his contact information! Gary and his team were great about communication throughout the planning process, and following the wedding as well. We are so grateful to Redwood + Rye for helping us preserve such lovely memories of our day!

I don’t even know where to start. From initial meeting to this day our experience with R&R has been nothing short of amazing. When you look through their portfolio there is not doubt they are amazing at what they do. You will without a doubt have some truly amazing photos of your big day. It’s usually hard when you look at other people’s wedding photos and truly grasp the emotion of the day, but I encourage you to look through theirs because that’s not the case you will for sure feel like you were in that moment. We TREASURE our wedding photos and look at them often. 6 months later and we still get compliments on them and people say hoe munch they loved looking at them because they felt like they were there. These are not your traditional wedding photographers with weird poses, they will capture you as a couple and your families to a T.
But beyond the photos they are amazing people, they are people you want as guests as your wedding. They are a vendor brides dream about - on top of their communication, SUPER understanding and friendly, WICKED knowledgeable about the wedding industry, and CALM ladies they are calm and will calm you on your wedding day. Jamie was our lead photographer And our guests thought he was a friend of ours with how amazing we got along and he worked with us. He truly became a member of our squad and family that day. This has gone on far longer than I thought, but I cannot reckoned Redwood and Rye enough. The process is FUN it’s not just emails back and forth they truly want to know you and your love story. You want these guys on your vendor team.
