Vidya made the process and experience as easy and stress-free as possible. I was an indecisive bride; I knew if I liked something or if I didn't but I had a hard time putting it into words. I changed my mind a lot during the makeup trial. Vidya was very patient the whole time and really gave me space to see what I liked best. She gave me advice on what would work well based on my facial features and my outfit and jewelry. Red Lotus Artistry does makeup and hair and I was also picky on hair. I knew I wanted to have jasmine flowers in my hair but couldn't find an inspo pic to bring my vision to life. Vidya drew an inspo pic and I trusted it and it was worth it. I loved my wedding hair and makeup. She worked with Tassi on my hair and it was better than I could have hoped for. She was there for me the whole time and really made me feel cared for. She even stood nearby with a cotton pad and tissue while I was getting first look photos taken so I wouldn't smear my makeup while crying.

I was wearing traditional Indian attire for my wedding and Vidya did a great job of helping me get dressed and pinning everything in place. The string for my skirt broke and she was able to quickly find a new thread, attach the decorative baubles at the end and get me ready in record time!

I would (and have) recommended them to a friend. I can't wait to see what beautiful look she creates for my beautiful friend's wedding as well!

Cannot express how incredible Red Lotus is in their professionalism, artistry, and communication. In addition to being SO personable and kind and considerate, these ladies are extremely talented. As a South Asian, it can be daunting to find someone to trust to make their day especially spectacular, regarding makeup, dress, and keeping the bridesmaids and MOL relaxed. But Vidya and her crew have it down pat. Their experience in the field resonates such a calm presence on even the biggest day of my life, and I could not have been more happy with how BEAUTIFUL I not only looked, but felt. Vidya and her team will bring nothing but their A-game to your big day! I was looking for someone who could do hair makeup and sari drape and she was the perfect fit. Let me tell you that I am a project manager for a living and I was impressed at the professionalism by Vidya, she plans flawlessly and manages schedules very well.. She is also flexible when it comes to budget and last minute circumstances. She is a great advisor when it comes to the whole bridal look and managing the day itself.. These ladies come prepared for anything, one of my bridesmaid had a torn seam and Vidya literally pulled out her sewing kit and patched it together, blue eyeshadow for my mom and hair donuts for me and she even fixed my husband's hair. I promise you will not get a better bang for your buck, Red Lotus will make you and your bridal party look like a million bucks!!!

Vidya and her team are amazing! On my wedding weekend, I had three separate sessions with Vidya and all of the looks were exactly what I had in mind. She took time to understand the hairstyles, makeup, and dupatta styles that I was interested in and executed wonderfully. On the wedding day, we had a very early start, and Vidya came with a magical device that took away puffiness and helped me feel very relaxed (I wish I had this tool every day!).

I cannot recommend her and her team enough! She is a great communicator and you can rest assured that you will be taken care of for all your needs.

Vidya’s attention to detail is unparalleled. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. My wedding weekend had an extremely tight timeline and Vidya stayed by my side (literally) for every part of it. She is honestly the sweetest and most genuine soul. TLDR: You spend nearly, as much time with your glam team as you do at your events. It is important that you have a team that makes you feel beautiful on the inside and out. RLA delivered in every way possible. They honestly felt more like family than a vendor.

We used RLA and team for my bridal hair and makeup as well as my close friends and family. We can be a difficult lot to work with. We want glam, but not too much glam, we still want to look like ourselves but elevated. RLA truly delivered, we got soooo many compliments on how good everyone looked and how we all still looked like ourselves.

Now for the Bridal side of things, I cannot say enough to truly convey how happy I am. On your wedding day, you are nervous, exhausted, anxious, etc. Vidya and the team made me feel at ease. I even told them that I would rather just hang out with them than go to my events and I meant it!

We initially had a trial for my wedding day look and Vidya listened to everything I said. She picked up on my style and really delivered. Shortly thereafter we had a consultation where we went through each one of my looks. What I was looking for both hair, make-up, and draping. She created a vision board for me and even made suggestions on simple additions or changes that really elevated my looks. On the day(s) of, she blew it out of the park.

Honestly, I hesitate to speak up and say what I do and do not like when it comes to services like this. When I asked for small changes, I felt so comfortable asking, and Vidya was never offended instead she was happy that I said something.

I said it in the beginning and I have to say it again, you want a team that makes you feel beautiful on the inside and out. RLA really delivered.

Vidya, Dolly, and Emily were absolutely wonderful to work with! If I could more than 5 stars I would. They were professional and so sweet. They made sure that we were comfortable with all the looks and answered all of the million questions we had. We had an early start time on the day of the wedding and they arrived on time, prepped and ready. They made it so much fun and relaxing even while being up before the sun was. The makeup and hair was absolutely stunning and they were so patient with us. To anyone looking for hair and makeup please don’t look any further. These talented gals will make you look and feel absolutely beautiful and you will not be disappointed!
