For us this day was really about centering Black queer love and Phy's videography and photography team was crucial for making sure our very intentional Black queer celebration can be in our memory forever. Another impeccable skill was the way Phy worked with us to feel prepared. Her method involves getting to know each other through an engagement shoot, planning out when the cant-miss groups of people we love and who love us, who have shown up for us will be captured in a way that didn't take us way from the party for too long.

From the first Zoom call, I knew that Phlyicia would be the perfect videographer for us, and she did not disappoint. Her work speaks for itself. Her eye for each couple is so unique and it shows in the way she captured us. With the chaos of our wedding day, Phylicia remained flexible, worked with us, and captured the most intimate parts of our day on film. When we were coming to the end of our time, Phylicia checked in to confirm whether we wanted more time, which I appreciated because there were changes in our timeline, and she was able to capture our final dance. The teaser video alone brings me to tears. Phylicia is THAT GOOD. I am so grateful to have chosen her.

We feel so grateful that we found Phylicia to be our wedding photographer. She put us at ease during our engagement shoot even while we were navigating a hot summer and walking through a meadow, captured us in our best light and giving us the perfect combination of steaminess (!!!) love, and joy, and handled our multicultural wedding and loud/large families with ease. She was so kind in the weeks before the wedding and the day of, was present and easily navigated all the moving pieces of our dual ceremony. I just got my pictures back this morning, and I LOVE them. I love the dark feel to phylicia’s work, along with the attention to detail. I originally met her at a wedding show, and knew right away she was what I was looking for. And she definitely did not disappoint. Candid moments are my favorite, and she did such a great job capturing those for us.

First off where do I begin....Phylicia and her husband were more than I could have asked for or even imagined. Our wedding pictures were absolutely phenomenal! Her vision and artistic eye made for the most beautifully captured moments we could have dreamed of. She made the whole process feel effortless when I had no idea what I was doing she would guide us through it all and made it feel so easy and so fun! Not only did they capture our wedding during covid but they even went out of their way to be videographers for our wedding when our original videographers canceled last minute which again was more than we could have asked for!
