Phy really brought the ENERGY. Her team captured all the movement, smells, emotion, song and words exchanged -- this means the laughs, the small head turns and nods, the ashe's, the bursts of enthusiasm, the breaking the glass. For getting ready details and our first look, the creative direction was unmatched, specific, and really visionary, providing the foundation for the most perfect day.
Phy's style is fresh and came with a beautiful combination of posed/directed shots as well as candid shots letting our love and confidence take the lead. The connectedness, love, intimacy, and joy is felt in all the resulting shots, not just between the two of us, but also all the excitement, joy, and emotion of our community. For us this day was really about centering Black queer love and Phy's videography and photography team was crucial for making sure our very intentional Black queer celebration can be in our memory forever. Another impeccable skill was the way Phy worked with us to feel prepared. Her method involves getting to know each other through an engagement shoot, planning out when the cant-miss groups of people we love and who love us, who have shown up for us will be captured in a way that didn't take us way from the party for too long.
If you are looking for someone who won't miss to capture the emotion of the day, make all the little details and hard work to come through, CHOOSE PHYLICIA WILLIS.

From the first Zoom call, I knew that Phlyicia would be the perfect videographer for us, and she did not disappoint. Her work speaks for itself. Her eye for each couple is so unique and it shows in the way she captured us. With the chaos of our wedding day, Phylicia remained flexible, worked with us, and captured the most intimate parts of our day on film. When we were coming to the end of our time, Phylicia checked in to confirm whether we wanted more time, which I appreciated because there were changes in our timeline, and she was able to capture our final dance. The teaser video alone brings me to tears. Phylicia is THAT GOOD. I am so grateful to have chosen her. -

Phylicia is an absolute artist!! If you are looking for someone that can capture beautiful moments book her now! I had the pleasure of meeting Phylicia over drinks and I felt like I was sitting down with an old friend. Her beautiful personality and open mindness made me feel at ease when we booked our engagement photos. I am a very awkward person but she made my fiancé and I feel super comfortable and captured amazing photos! The photos of us were not staged—she reminded us of the strong love we share and you can see those special moments in our photos! -

Where do I even begin?
Words cannot possibly describe the undeniable talent that encompasses Phylicia and her work. She is truly an artist of her trade, and her photographs are capable of capturing the absolute best characteristics and each and every single moment.
Today, my husband and I had out wedding photo gallery delivered to us, and I am BEYOND humbled. Phylicia went far beyond our expectations, once again. She somehow managed to capture elegance and grace in each individual photo. Without a doubt, the personalities of ourselves as well as our family members and bridal party are truly and honestly reflected throughout Phylicia's photography.
Her style is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. I honestly have no idea how we possibly deserved to find such a phenomenal human to be our wedding photographer. She created a magnificent and timeless story by capturing our wedding day in photos, and we could not possible be happier.
Phylicia is a MAGICAL individual with the most genuine and heartwarming personality. She is SO MUCH FUN to work with, and I can't possibly express how important that is. She felt like part of the family all day, and just fit right in with all of our friends and family.
Everyone LOVED her. Brides if you're looking for not only an amazing photographer, but an amazing human being to share your wedding with with, Phylicia is the one for you.
Nate and I will NEVER use another photographer for anything that we want professionally photographed. Phylicia will always have lifelong clients (and friends) in us.
Phy, my heart is so warm and full of love. You had me in tears this morning looking at all of those beautiful photos. I just got my pictures back this morning, and I LOVE them. I love the dark feel to phylicia’s work, along with the attention to detail. I originally met her at a wedding show, and knew right away she was what I was looking for. And she definitely did not disappoint. Candid moments are my favorite, and she did such a great job capturing those for us. -

I can not recommend Phylicia highly enough - her vision was exactly what I was looking for and my wedding photos turned out AMAZING! Phylicia was so down to earth and fun to work with during the photography process - she makes you feel comfortable and it shows in the photos. If you’re looking for a photographer I highly recommend speaking with her, you’ll want to hire her after you do. -

Katrice Sent on 07/18/2018I cannot express how happy we were with Phylicia's work. Her easy going nature immediately puts you at ease. After our initial conversation, I knew that the photography would be the part of our day that I would not have to worry about. We had a very simple elopement but you'd never know it by the care and creativity she poured into our photos. Her prices were reasonable and she expertly captured what we wanted for our day. Years from now I know I can look back at those photos and remember every special detail. I highly recommend her services.
